I know that the promo/teaser from SDCC where it is shown Ariel is not canon, but I do hope that her appearance it is, Ariel’s tail is different of NL mermaid’s tails!!!
Agreed, her tail in in SDCC preview looked better than the common monofin-ish one in the new promo. Hopefully its high quality and has lots of fishy details as well as matches her green tail color. I hope she has those blue sea shell bras too… 🙂 I hope we see her sisters as well

Regina did rip out the heart of Graham and make him her slave (basically) because he didn’t kill Snow. This is going to be a very interesting episode.
Hmm… in the pilot episode of S1 didn’t the Blue Fairy speak of banishing Regina to another world during the War Council scene?

I suspect you are onto something, though cocreator Adam Horowitz will only say that “we might” flash back to that aforementioned encounter during JoAnna Garcia’s turn as the Little Mermaid.I suppose that basically confirms Regina is indeed Ursula… 🙁 🙂 I’m conflicted on how to feel about that

I think the season may end with him turning into the Red Genie, though. Sets up S2 nicely.
I’d like that! It’d definetly leave me wanting to see more. But I do believe Jafar still had his Cobra Staff when he was a genies (in the sequels and show) though I could be wrong. Perhaps he just likes his accessories…

Maybe she wants Cyrus for whatever reason but instead has Jafar and made a deal with him that if he helps her capture Cyrus then she will free him. Just a thought.

Or What if Ursula does exist as her own character in the Onceverse but Regina gets to Ariel before Ursula does so essentially Regina is Ursula without actually being Ursula.
Either of these will be the only thing that would make me happy about the whole “Evil Queen is Ursula” scenario. Personally, I feel she is good enough to be her own unique character with a backstory and motivation, but I suppose if Adam and Eddy have Regina be Ursula then I’ll trust them to do it right and not disappoint Ursula’s fan.
Also….I remember that theory that the Nurse in SB was Ursula. If Ursula is indeed her own character, I’d much like it to be that woman.
