Hook seemed to know her. She was an “old friend” of Regina, that connected to guarding the plot device..oh sorry, fail-safe. What if she came to FTL at some point in the past, like when Rumple went to NL before? Funny fact but a tinkerbell float replaced the blue fairy float in Disney’s electric parade in the Magic Kingdom park.

It’s all speculation but, as loathe as I am to admit this, the way people feel right now about Eric and where he should be or who he should be is, to some degree, steming from the quesiton of “who do you ship.” It’s wrong and it’s sad and I hate myself for it but it is playing a part. I’m sort of hoping that Eric spurned Ariel for Vanessa.
In the original tale, the prince ended up with another woman and not the mermaid. This is what Im thinking as well. But the sad part is, that means no hope for baby Melody (Ariel and Eric’s baby) 🙁
