So maybe that killing him in a place where he has no magic and True Love are ways around that little clause.

I like the idea of the Dark Ones still being “slaves to the dagger” after they die as Wraiths. In life it controlled them and so it shall even after…… How depressing. But perhaps that is the price of the Dark One’s powerful magic.

Could those be the eyes of the Cheshire cat??

I love those two to death but Ursula is just waaaay too good to not have her tentacles up on screen…..
Plus she’d have a nice backstory. In a deleted scene of the Disney version, it was revealed Ursula was King Triton’s sister and once Queen of The Sea but Triton banished her for using black magic and she vowed for revenge. I’m sure OUAT could use that!

They were originally silver in the books, changed to red for the movie so they’d stand out.
I once heard that others could have the shoes be red but they could not refer to them as “Ruby Slippers” perhaps calling them Red Shoes, though idk how true that is legally.
For example, in Disney’s Oz movie, the east witch, Evanora has an emerald necklace that gives her her powers and her sister, my profile pic 🙂 has a ruby ring (it’s easy to miss but watch whenever she uses magic, the ring glows red). There’s a theory that this is setting up the next movie where the Wicked West Witch will make her ring into shoes to give to Evanora since the emerald was destroyed, so if that is the case the shoes will most likely be Ruby Slippers even though Disney doesn’t have the rights..
As another fuel to that fire, I just remembered in that scene with Young Cora and Young Eva, when Cora dropped the flour on Eva’s (white) shoes, Eva calls them slippers. Could be a hint.

I mean Blue Fairy being responsible for the Dark Curse. She seems to know a lot about it, and said it “doesn’t belong in this world” and that the curse is “specific to this realm” so I wonder what does that mean. She’s also said to be the ancient, and original power, by Morraine, so I wouldn’t be surprised.
But still, if she’s so ancient, where does she and her kind come from?? Fairies seem to just be in about every tale, I hope they shed some light on her backstory this season
