That’s kind of the problem. Hook should be able to have a storyline OUTSIDE of Emma, especially now that wont be the main star anymore. If he is remaining, I really hope he isn’t going to be spending 21 episodes whining about Emma, and then getting her in episode 22. That’d be putting us in the same loop with Hook again. Now is actually a good time to give him some decent story and see if he can stand on his own two feet without a ship to carry him anymore. I know a lot of CS fans wont care whether he can or cant. But Emma and Hook got married. Lets just leave the back in the past and move on now. CS fans got what they wanted and everyone else can breathe and move on from that, finally.

Also, we don’t know if Emma will be missing or if the season will even have her heavily involved in whatever the plot is at all. I’d much rather Hook just be here for flash backs or the occasional recurring SB resident who acts as a side character helping out Adult-Henry or whomever the star is. Not trying to run after Emma. Again. This is a great opportunity to bring back the old, action packed Hook we all loved.

So ill try this again: Basically what I said in my disappearing post was that WishRealm Hook is a single drunkard old pirate and Wish Realm Rump (Which could be a band name, btw) is an evil old insane dark one…who is also single ( oooh 😉 just my type!). So ifthey wanted to give them new love interests, they could. I wouldn’t put it past Wish world Rump to come over to our land to find Belle to take for his own, and having to face Mr. Gold. But for Hook since I think a large part of his appeal to the fandom is that he is conventionally attractive, I don’t think anyone will actually buy into a storyline for him in this setting.

You think the ratings are going to increase for the reboot?

I think the first episode or two will be either a slight boost or on par with what we can expect. A lot of us are indeed tired of this show, but are here for the long haul and will tune it at the very least for the first episode if not the entire season. If the story they set up at the end of tomorrows episode is intriguing enough a lot of people will pop in just to see how that goes. Although it would not be the first time A&E tease us with a good story (Dark Swan arc!) only to let it fizzle out into trash.

With Emma out of the way and hopefully an Adult!Henry as a main character for next season, it would be a great time for Neal to show up and offer some wise words of encouragement to his son on his journey to be a hero.

I’m up for anything as long as its nothing to do with CS, personally.

I just want this to be Henry’s story. That’s it. OUAT is kind of next generation for the classic fairytale, let this be the next, next generation. They ruined the new fairytale they were supposed to create in the first OUAT, Henry can be the star of this.

I think WishRealm just needs to be left out of this, outside of an occasional glimpse at Regina and Robins life or whatever just to check up on them. I think it complicates too much having an entire world of doppelgangers. Once is already confusing enough. I would rather not see WR flashbacks of how events occurred in that timeline.

Keep it simple. I imagine a Buffy/Charmed/Supernatural-esque reboot of this show, with Henry hunting down characters and creatures and figures from stories and saving the world or something. A little darker tone would be nice.

with a reboot it usually opens the show back up to new audiences by resetting the narrative a bit.

But are people who weren’t watching OUAT for the past 6 years going to tune in for a 7th season? Did they for the spinoff? I don’t think so. I think people who gave up on the show will return though. Maybe.

I think the third dark curse was meant to bring everyone back here, while the one before it (which had to take everyone back to their original place of residence. Since Henry’s original birth place is here that didn’t work on him. This curse probably had a similar “from whence you came” aspect.

Or maybe the black fairy left him as a way to punish him or Emma psychologically.

think about this episode From black Fairy’s viewpoint. She has NO IDEA WHATS GOING ON!! ???

Like imagine her explaining this to Rumpel later. “So I went to go kill her, I snatched her heart and everything…and then…she just starts singing. Yes. Singing. I don’t even know where the music was coming from, it was just there!”

She must have been so confused!! I’m dying with laughter.

This is actualy my only issue. To quote Return To Oz: “A witch with no magic is a truly miserable creature indeed” <— Or soemthing like that. Zee needs her magic, she just needs to not be wicked anymore.
