yeah, in hindsight it was always obvious Cora was always intended to be the queen of hearts. Her name literally means heart, she had hearts on her cloak, and her spellbook had a heart on it. Regina having been named Mills is also an indication teh writers must have been thinking ahead. I dont think she counts at all.

I think this episode should have just focused on the black fairy and Gideon scenes in the present and past. Hook doesn’t fit into that.
I actually quite enjoyed Hook this episode for what it’s worth. But I agree his scenes were pointless to the episode. I highly doubt any of the neverland/tiger lily stuff will tie into anything having to do with the black fairy

True, but first she was Cora, an original character (Regina’s mom) before she became the Queen of Hearts. But yes, I guess technically you are right.
technically she was the millers daughter before she was a mother. The only original (main) characters are Emma, Henry, and Neal. We have original side characters to (Lily, Dragon, Tamara, etc) but Cora no count. Unless we count the likes of Greg and Tamara, I think Black Fairy is the first central villain who is original.

In season 2 I believe he told Henry he lost the power when the curse was broken or something. I vaguely recall the conversation. The power wasn’t originally his to begin with after all. Also I’m season 3 he was attempting to see the future in never land and it wouldn’t work. Although Felix stated it was because Neverland has no future. So idk. He hasn’t done any future seeing in many, many years.

Like we never learned who called the cops on Emma (writers always said it wasn’t Neal);
I….kinda like that… Like, maybe we will finally learn how the Book got into Mary Margarets closet: Snow put it there when they time traveled.

Like Isaac said, its the Author Powers taking over, so this really could be some kind of magical language. Isaac seemed to be reading it and we know Henry can write without doing it of his own will. Henry probably doesn’t know what is or means because he hasn’t been the author that long.
I guess its like some kind of author equivalent to speaking in tongues? Writing in tongues? Maybe we need an interpreter. Perfect time to introduce the Illustrator 😛
But yeah, his author powers are going haywire and writing the future in pure, raw, Author Language. I’m guessing. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Two options: 1) The writers don’t remember this and don’t expect us to or 2) Just saying the name Emma will jog his memories. So they meet him in the past and say their daughters name and boom bam, that’s that.
I recall the episode where Regina went trying to adopt a baby with his help and we talked about whether or not he had his memories because he had a line that kind of implied he remembered losing his son. Or something. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯Do they have all the ingredients Zelena needed in s3B?
I’m guessing they use Black Fairy’s wand. It can time travel if I rememeber correctly.
