Can someone tell me what the point of putting Rapunzel in a tower was? In the original story it was so the witch could raise her away from others. One Tangled it was to keep her away from others due to her magical hair. In both instances, the witch came back and raised her. In this instance it looks like Rapunzel was just in a tower with all things provided for her and Gothel never came back. So what was the point? Also, why did Rapunzel never cut her hair previously if there was something in there to cut it with?
yeah I didn’t get the thing with the hair? Like….what was the point? Why’d it grow so long? Why didn’t she cut it? I honestly figured I must have missed a piece of dialogue about it

I’m guessing Drizella is getting initiated into whatever weird coven this. But I wouldn’t be surprised if they Zelena and start switching plans.

Also it seems someone was turned into stone (it’s obviously a woman in a dress with braided hair). But this episode seems like it’s gonna be awesome

I’m thinking Wonderland kept her younger because there is no way she in her early 30’s, which is how old she should be considering when she was born. Didn’t the original Alice have time issues as well when she was in Wonderland?
I believe so. Given that she was a child when she first went to wonderland and meet everyone but when she returned, she was an adult but everyone was the same age.
But ya know, I’m guessing since the curse stopped time maybe that has something to do with it….? Somehow? Idk. It doesn’t make sense

I’m honestly guessing she sailed off to another area, and lived into old age and died. WishRealm Snow and Charming were already elderly looking so Regina would have had to have been even older. And with no magic to keep her safe and young and no royal status, I am sure the Wish Realm EQ is long dead and gone. Fprced to live out her days as a commoner thirsty for revenge but no power or status to see it through. How delicious.

True but by nature of the wish realm being a place where the EQ lost, so really no matter what, the EQ had to leave the charmings alone forever in this world. Obviously the obvious thing to do would have been for the charmings to have killed her, but I guess that doesn’t sound as noble

I think hes just some guy named Jack. He probably has a backstory (what teenager is running around on their own, since he met henry when he first arrived in the EF 2.0 and he was just a teen/18 year old) but I don’t think hes from the beanstalk.
He and Henry mentioned giants, so seems pretty clear he is either Jack and the Beanstalk’s Jack, Jack the Giant Killer’s Jack or both.

Henry said he was one of the first friends he met when he came to EF 2.0. It would explain why he and his family have an abundance of magic beans.

It didn’t exist until last year! (yes, I will continue to find this befuddling!)
This is extra confusing when you remember that 1) EQ (that is alive now) was only create when she was split from regina fairly recently ago. So….this is ANOTHER Evile Queen. The WishRealm EQ. Not the real one, not the one who was created from the split, but one who resided in the wish realm and is still alive somewhere, magicless.

I wish I could have seen more of it but her hair was in the way.
But im guessing its like this:
Gothel is a witch who has an affinity for plant magic. She has a very powerful and rare flower that can do something spectacular and powerful but it was stolen and used to concieve rapunzel (just like in the movie). So se kidnaps and raises Rapunzel in the tower to harness the powe from her hair.
But Rapunzel somehow tricks her and manages to escape.
So Rapunzel goes on to become Tremaine and has TWO daughters born with magic. Anastasia dies and Drizella wants to resurrect her not out of love but to take the power that she has within her which comes from the magic flower.
Drizella and Gothel want the exact same thing as Tremaine but for different reasons. They all want Ana resurrected but Tremaine wants it out of love, Gothel and Drizz want it out of a lust for power.
