which version is the better thesis statement for OUAT?
I think August’s is more in line with the themes of hope the show has always had from the very beginning. Henry has said similar things, and to quote Mary Margaret from season 3, episode 11: ” What do you think fairytales are? They are a reminder that our lives will get better if we just hold on to hope” which I think perfectly aligns with what August is saying. OUAT has always been about hope even when all the odds are stacked against you, even when there is a curse coming that you are powerless to stop, or if you are a person who has had such a terrible life but you just want a happy ending, there’s always the chance for things to change for the better. Every character has gone through this. To quote MM again: “Believing in even the possibility of a happy ending is a very powerful thing.”

I really enjoyed this episode….but I agree… I would feel more reassured if I knew that it would return for another season. IT SHOULD!!! Its gotten really good and I really want to know all about this Beast Forever guy! I want to know so much about this world, about what happens next.

But Zee? She’s fresh off the “I’m used to flying on brooms and magically appearing to get to my destinations” boat. So eh, I guess we just accept it. Regina use to ride carriages to and fro back in the EF afterall.

Thoughts? It does sound similar to 3×11 “Going Home” — but that was a beautiful ending and would explain why we should have seen it coming. Then again “full circle” could be as simple as another wedding and TLK, which is almost exactly how the story began. But people have been speculating that for awhile, especially @rumplesgirl.
If they are trying to set up another season/reboot/spinoff then having a wedding interrupted by a curse that sends everyone else to a different realm (the black fairy’s realm?) then Henry as the new savior could be a thing.
But if they mean full circle as a way to end it all off, I think it’ll just be a wedding where nothing happens to really set up another villain or anything. Eh.
