After I saw this sneak peek and heard the panel. A crazy idea is no on my mind. Rumple act like Peter Pan is his enemy and he fears him, but Felix welcomed Rumple and said that he could stay as long as he wants, like Peter Pan would like it that the Dark One is near. Rumple is acting weired and out of his habit, he shows Felix that he is pissed of and don’t want to play games (not moving and circle while he is talking). I have to say Rumple reminds me extremely of Bae with moving the hands. Like when Bae was talking in Manhattan to his father (“You choose me for all this crap”). so know I believe that PeterPan is actually Rumple’s Dad, who was turned into a boy/teenager and is now a prisoner as well sorts of ruler in Neverland, like Cora was. The straw doll is actually a play doll from Rumples youth and reminds him of the time when he was full of hope and a had father. When everything was alright, before he was left alone.
I know that is stretch, but let me explain why, I got this idea.
1.) Felix said in the video something like Things we haven’t thought about in years (he really is stretching the word years)still have the ability to make us cry. First I thought it is about Bae, but Bae was always on Rumples mind. It never left. His son was his first thought in the morning, the last before he rests his head and I am sure still haunted him in his dreams as well.
2.) Felix told him Pan is exited, welcomed him to stay as long as he wants, like saying your island is my island. I don’t want to be your enemy, altough why should Pan do this, when even Rumple applied that he his more powerful then him? He giving him a chance to back out, that he don’t want him to be dead and after he refuse Felix show the doll. Rumple is breaking again. If Peter was Rumple’s dead this could mean. “Son, I have abonden you, but I still care and think about you. Please I don’t want to fight against you, but I will if I have to. ”
3.) For me Rumple and Pan has some similars as well. Evrybody know their legends, but their real selves are more in the background. Also they understand the value of “sentimental little keepsake” and know how they get under skins of others. It appears at wells that Pan has a strong attachament to deals and quit pro quo.
4.) They didn’t give us the missing scene from Manhattan with small Rumple, seeing his father abonden him and dying. That means this is not yet really a part of the story and could be changed. I mean if all the first ideas would be stuck David’s name would be Richard. (because this was his name on the script) and their would be a scene with Belle trying to run away from the castle and run in the same room after another.( But she is a hero, who made her sacriface to safe her people so she wouldn’t risk to break the deal and let her family be killed, so this scene had not fit to character).
5.) This series is all about family and hope. Look on the family tree of Henry. He has already a strong bound on Enchanted forest, Wonderland and Storybrooke. It would be strange there wouldn’t be not such a bound in Neverland, specially when they were waiting for him over a hundred years. And I think that H & K hasn’t a problem to mess a little bit more with family tree. What would MM say: “Or, maybe this will mellow everyone out.”
Also we are not allowed to forget that how dark the character will appear. The person will always have another side of him. Nobody is 100 % Evil or 100 % Good, even if they will give us only teaser, where Pan is the most dangerous demon we will ever meet. Maybe Pan needs Henry to rescue him from a curse. The curse that bounds him to the island. Maybe he wants to be dead, like Zoso wanted it and Henry is the only way, who was prophezised him to get free of it, cause Henry is the strongest Believer in all the lands.
6.)History often repeats itself. Look, first we have Rumple, who was abonden by his father and wanted to be a better man for his son, but failed. Neal as well wanted not to step in his father steps, but with leaving Emma, he abonden his son as well.
First Henry has forgiven his father to not be there, cause he didn’t know. Then Bae try to forgive his father when he was dying, so why not complete it with Rumple get a chance to forgive his father as well.7.) The Prophecy: The seer told Rumple: A boy… A young boy will lead you to him. But beware, Rumpelstiltskin, for that boy is more than he appears. He will lead you…to what you seek. But there will be a price. The boy… Will be your undoing.”
I always was suspicouis with her words. She didn’t say He will lead you to Bealfire or your son. No, she says: He will lead you to what you seek. Of course, Rumple was searching for his boy, but that is not all. He was searching his whole life to be respected, to be loved, to be a better man than his father, get a good life, to be brave, to proof himself, to have a family and find happiness, But until now he was not successful, but since Henry brought Emma to Storybrooke, the curse was broken, Belle appears, he tried to be a better man, he could not only find his son, but was also able talk with him and bring him back to his life and show that was more to him than just the Dark One, before he of course messed it all up againAlso I believe that undoing means the Undoing of the Dark One and not Rumples death, cause at the time she was speaking with him he was the Dark One in his first unstable state.
8.) H& K told us that the this season is about the core of the character, who they really are and Rumple is a broken man, but still believes that Happy Endings are exists, but unfortunately not for coward like him, so in the end he will try anything to let a little part of his family to have it. Unleast one time Bae can be proud of his old man and doing something right on his son, who Rumple failed so deeply. Maybe when he takes the path to his own death. He will find a way to be the little Boy again, who believed like Bae did and Henry do. But to achieve that he has to face his first crack in his soul that determined his fate, the desertion of his own father.

What a pit, that you aren’t that bealish. There are some perons in this world who didn’t le us have our happy ending and deleted very good stuff.
The Rumple scene was a killer for me as well.

Are you bealish from youtube with the awesome Rumplestiltskin (all of Rumplestiltskin season 1)video from season, which somebody blocked. Can I see it elsewhere ore has you a new video with the season 2 added as well. I found nothing similar love this video and watched it often, like my favorite movie.

Belle should be mentioned as grandmother in spe to show the possibilty of growing this tree. Hopefully in all directions.
