This is how I get to the untold stories. Just click the link in Daniel’s post.
Has anybody been able to view this using an operating system other than Windows? Every time I try to access the link it just freezes in my browser. I’ve tried both Firefox, Konquerer, and Chrome under Linux but had no luck. I suspect ABC may have used some proprietary Windows-only tool in building the site. Or maybe I just need to overcome my laziness and upgrade my OS and browser to newer versions.

As for tracking down Emma in the pilot, it certainly seems reasonable that a bright kid like Henry, armed with Mary Margaret’s credit card, could locate Emma through the internet. However, like you, I’ve often wondered if he may have been given a little secret help by the person who wrote his book. I suspect when we discover who wrote the book and got it into the hands of Mary Margaret, we may find that person also was working to ensure that Henry would someday find Emma and bring her to Storybrooke. I used to assume that it was Rumple, but the writers have apparently said that he didn’t regain his memory until he met Emma, so now I’m just waiting to see (no spoilers, please!)
timespacerParticipantCongratulations on a great creatively themed party and a happy birthday!
timespacerParticipantI read somewhere that in an early draft of the script, Charming was going to die from his sword wound in the pilot and Snow would become Sister Mary Margaret in Storybrooke. Of course, they wound up changing that before they filmed it, and they put in her line in episode 2, “I’m a teacher, not a nun” as a little nod to that script change.
timespacerParticipantI think Cora’s first goal would be to try to turn Henry to her side as a way of punishing Regina (a nod to Regina’s line to young Snow “My mother corrupts young souls” in her dream sequence in “We Are Both”.) If that fails, Cora might ally with King George and try to kill Henry since that would give George the kind of revenge he seeks on Charming and would remove from Regina what Cora would no doubt see as a “weakness” in Regina. After all, Cora is not related to Henry by blood and she has had no opportunity to form a bond with him as Regina did, so it seems likely that she might see him as something distracting Regina from power, just as she did Daniel. I can only imagine Regina’s reaction! I would not sell King George a life insurance policy – I don’t expect him to survive long if he tries this.
timespacerParticipantAnd Henry is already his own great-uncle!
timespacerParticipantWell, Red actually had experience working for the Sheriff’s Department for part of one episode, so maybe Red should be sheriff and Charming should be mayor.
timespacerParticipantMany of these comments seem to be based on the assumption that the hearts in the vault can be “put back” into their original owners. We don’t know if that is true.

I think that people in FTL/EF don’t have last names. But when Regina made a coffin for her father here, she had to put a last name on it so she just used the same one she’d chosen for herself to have in SB.
That’s right. Last names are a relatively recent invention of Western culture. Cora’s husband Henry had no last name. So when Regina (Or the curse? Or the writers?) needed a last name for her life in Storybrooke, she (Or it. Or they.) just chose “Mills” because of her connection to a miller.

I do understand that, Lil’red. But just because he has shown to be sympathetic to her, does not mean he suddenly trusts her. He wanted her spared, I think, because he does believe her when she told him that she loved him, but he still is wary. He saw her almost killed his grandfather in front of him, and then she forced him to come with her or see his friends all killed. She says sorry afterwards, but it could be that he still fears that she could suddenly change.
I agree. All the characters are growing more complex, including Henry. He certainly doesn’t want her hurt, as we saw in “Broken” because “She’s still my mom.” Despite all she has done, Henry has a lifetime of experience with her. At the same time, he can’t trust her because he knows all she has done. Did you notice the look on his face when he entered the crypt and gazed at the name “Henry Mills” on the coffin of Henry The Elder before he saw the tracks? It made me wonder if Henry has ever worried, even just subconsciously, that a woman who could kill her father might also be capable of killing her son. I think we’ve seen enough to know that Regina would never do that, but the thought must have crossed Henry’s mind at some time, especially before the curse was broken. If nothing else, the coffin was a reminder of the things Regina has done.
Despite all that, I agree that Henry is fundamentally good and he needs to keep the moral high ground. I hope we get to see a scene in a future episode where he apologizes to Regina for how he hurt her by lying to her. It would be a chance to highlight the conflict he is trying to deal with in not wanting to hurt her but also not being able to trust her. After all, since he couldn’t trust Regina, he had to lie to her to help Snow and Emma. Such a conversation between Regina and Henry could help both characters grow. If Regina truly wants to earn Henry’s trust, it’s going to take a long time and involve actions, not just words.
