^^ Yeah, it wasn’t so much about the lyrics, but the song itself, the music is just creepy and i get such a “Cora” feel to it haha.
Got another video up!

I wonder if Blue’s backstory is going to be tied to Tinkerbell’s since the writers did say that Tinkerbell deserved her own back story. Perhaps Tinkerbell fell in love with Peter Pan but her love was unrequited and Peter only ever saw her as his companion. Tinkerbell stayed with Peter because of her love for him but maybe Blue saw how sad Tinkerbell was because of her unrequited love even though Tinkerbell would pretend to be happy for Peter’s sake.
Blue then didn’t want Nova ending up the same way as Tinkerbell.
That’s a great theory, would love to see something like that. I really hope we get a Blue ep towards the beginning of season 3, because I feel like there’s gotta be so much more to her story and it’s starting to bug me that they haven’t coughed up more information about her history yet.

So dark magic is more of a “Give me what I want and here’s the payment” sort of bargain while fairy magic is more like an altruistic sort of ability to find things that can make other people happy.
And yet The Blue Fairy is still considered the most powerful in the land…
She’s considered by the good guys to be the most powerful being who is on their side, which is true enough.
The Script doesn’t specify that, it states she’s the most powerful in all the land.

I don’t think that BF is capable of paying the price for dark magic, and so her power is far more limited. They’ve said that it requires a pure heart to get her to come, and she seems capable only of granting a very deep wish under particular conditions (like being selfless, brave, and true or whatever–it’s said that August couldn’t have been transformed if he was not).
I agree. It appears that the Blue Fairy’s magic, while powerful, is limited by things outside of her control. She can’t just cast a spell to do anything she wants but she can manipulate certain pre-existing conditions. The requirement that Pinocchio be selfless, brave, and true is the clearest example. She also stated on several occasions that there are things she can’t do: she couldn’t undo the effects of becoming The Dark One on Rumple, she couldn’t transform Gepetto’s parents, etc… I think this is part of the reason that fairies don’t have to pay the kind of price that users of dark magic must pay. Someone else (sorry, I can’t remember who) also mentioned the fact that the fairies can’t fall in love may be the price they pay for their magic.

tombo671Participant^^ Exactly, who knows what she meant by “The Right Side”…I Think the writers are deliberately doing that with her character just incase they decide to go down that route in the future, they’re probably undecided about it now, and since Tamara is going to be the next Big bad i don’t think we will be seeing anything for a long time regarding it.

Regina had to sacrifice what she loved most to enact the curse, and Rumple’s deals are mostly about making sure he’s not the one paying the full price for what he does (though he, too, lost a lot–including most of his soul and his son–for his power).

Also, it’s been suggested that two magic users are stronger than one–Rumple needed Regina’s help to create the portal-block when Cora was coming. Rumple’s also, by far, the most experienced magic user shy of BF, so his shield was probably a lot stronger than Emma’s. Cora and Regina together broke that shield the first time; Cora struggled a lot harder alone with Emma’s second shield.
Keegan said in an interview that the script said The Blue Fairy is the most powerful being in all the land.

I know we agree way more than disagree. I just have little patience for Regina’s lack of character development. I think she’s a very interesting character who is fun to analyze, and Lana is a great actress, but I could never sanction Regina’s evil actions.
I know this going to incur the wrath of every EvilRegal who reads this post but I want Regina to be the EQ as long as possible because I think she’s much more fun that way. Lana is so good at playing bad that when Regina tried to make a go of redemption early this season it was a bit boring for me. Let her be the antagonist for awhile. Lana obviously relishes it. Rumple will be right there making mistakes and being an equally gray character and I’m fine with that, they’ll get their redemption in the end. But there is something so fun about watching Lana as the EQ.
100% Agree! Ive always loved Regina as the EQ, and want her to stay that way, glad we think alike. I hope she still remains evil for a good long time.
tombo671ParticipantI was only a casual viewer of S1 when it aired, I think the characters having their memories back got me hooked on S2, aswell as Cora being around, loved her character.
tombo671ParticipantIt would be yuck, sorry…I know she doesn’t age (or didn’t for 28 years) but she at first wanted him as her CHIlD! And now she would want him as a romantic interest? Nah uh.
tombo671ParticipantLol @ The Blue Fairy….what’s that schemy snake up-to this time…

I mean seriously. Why was it so hard to get the dagger when she could have just used accio and got it immediately? And they can literally just apparate anywhere.
It’s obvious the writers don’t take the act of magic itself very seriously in this show, with all these poorly written scenes, why didn’t Regina just simply teleport to her lair to get her moms heart? Why didn’t Cora just teleport the Charmings/Neal out of the way when she first entered the shop…Another funny scene was when they had Regina physically digging last episode….BAHAHA!
