Tonys day!! I might be missing the first part of the show because my bro’s grad party is this afternoon, but I’m so excited to see all the performances and awards!

Yes it is! I’m pretty sure that’s the one they’ll perform at the Tonys. Unless they do a mashup.
My song of the week is “Say No To This”. I want to hate it because ALEX NOOO DON’T CHEAT ON YO WIFE, but Jasmine’s voice is so darn amazing.
Tonight, James Corden is doing a broadway Carpool Karaoke and Lin is gonna be in it! It’ll be amazing, guys!

And I think Snow is a good match for Eliza. Season 1 Snow, at least. Incredibly loyal, kind, strong, and selfless.
I think Henry has a lot in common with young Hamilton. They’re both writers, grew up without their parents, and are always trying to prove themselves.
Since the Tony Awards are about a week away…any predictions? I think Hamilton will win in every category except Best Actress in a Musical. I love Pippa and thinks she makes a perfect Eliza, but I think Cynthia is going to take that one.
I think that Daveed will win Best Featured Actor…I wouldn’t be upset if Chris Jackson won, but I think Daveed’s got this one. I love Jonathan Groff, but he didnt have nearly enough stage time to deserve being noninated IMO…I thought Anthony Ramos should’ve gotten the nomination. He has to die 16 times a week!!!
I think Leslie will win best actor, and it will be well deserved. He is an incredible singer, and puts so much passion into Burr. I think Lin would be incredibly happy for him if he won. And I believe Lin will win everything else anyway.

Brilliant. There are no words for how much I respect and admire Lin. And ugh, Leslie’s VOICE is perfect.
Ooh I agree with the Burr/Rumple comparison. I actually see a bit of a similarity between Angelica and Regina, especially in recent times. Two powerhouse women who know a lot about sacrifice. Actually, Season 1 Emma and Angelica are pretty similar too.
Casting Lin is basically the only reason I would want to see a new version of Mary Poppins!
Same though. I love Emily Blunt too, but Lin is gonna make that movie fantastic.
And yes, The Schuyler Sisters is ALWAYS relatable. This weekend, I just realized that my youngest brother is the “And Peggy” of the family. Oops…
Hurricane is my obsession of the week though. The line “Total strangers/Moved to kindness/by my story” is just really getting to me lately.Yay RG! 🙂
I love My Shot too. My current favorite (it changes every day) is Wait For It. All of Burr’s songs are incredible…Leslie was the perfect choice for Burr. As much as I love Lin, I really want Leslie to win the Best Actor Tony.
Also, It’s Quiet Uptown makes me cry. Every. Single. Time. Like I couldn’t listen to it when my roommate was in our dorm because I would start tearing up in front of her. That song is just so darn emotional.
