ParticipantHey AoSers! Resurrecting this thread because I had a lot of thoughts about last night’s episode, and I’m definitely going need to rant after next week’s finale.
First of all, yay for the Civil War connections! Of course Coulson is on Team Cap. But RIP Peggy, the MCU will miss you
I loved how maternal May was with Lincoln. “Eat something”…Momma May is canon, guys.
Ward was beyond creepy this episode. First of all, he tells Daisy that those Watchdogs/Inhumans are their children. Then he decides he’s going to kill Daisy so he can make more of them #happymothersday
I loved all of Yo-yo’s scenes…she’s an awesome character. Her and Mack are beyond adorable. *cue feeling of dread when she hands him the necklace* Someone on twitter posted that the finale is just going to be a two-hour game of hot potato with the necklace…world’s deadliest game of hot potato for sure.
I loved the twist with sending Lash instead of Lincoln. Though once again, May has to make the hard call. Her face as she was kneeling over Lash’s body was heartbreaking đ As was the scene when Lash saves Daisy.
Props to the writers for doing a great job with Lash’s character. Someone pointed out that earlier in the season, Lash kept saying “I’m the cure” and everyone else was just like yeah, right. Turns out that he really was the cure. #foreshadowing #continuity
My top 3 predictions for the fallen agent are Lincoln, May, or Mack (not necessarily in that order)
Thoughts?

ParticipantImagine if they did link Once upon a time to the MCU though? Have Coulson show up because Storybrooke has just appeared on Shieldâs radar. If the show couldnât get the big characters like Thor and Loki, have the minor ones like Sif. The Thor/Charming exchange would still work the same but with Sif instead. Shield would be the âhome officeâ plot we got in season 2 but better and would actually be a decent âthreatâ to Storybrooke but with the exception that Shield arenât evil, theyâre just looking out for earth and investigating Storybrooke. The plot could be that the âheroesâ have to prove to Shield that Storybrooke and its inhabitants arenât a threat. Everyone would have different reactions. Emma might try the diplomatic approach whereas Regina and Rumple would go for the âget out of my town!â approach, possibly escalating the situation. Someone hassles Belle or Henry which provokes a magical defensive from Rumple or Regina then all of a sudden itâs Shield against Storybrooke and things start getting messy. Also, the events of the first avengers movie could still fit in the showâs timeline.
I would give so many things for this to happen.

ParticipantAnnalise has got a great squad…that on-the-fly madness to get immunity was brilliant.
I love Michaela and Connor’s friendship…hopefully we’ll get to see more of it in future episodes.
Oh poor Laurel…she’s trying so hard to protect everyone.
I knew Wes didn’t do it! But adult Wes is a mess…Annalise really needs to pull it together and talk to him.
Aww Frank <3 He’s in love!
Oh no, don’t do it. Oh nonononono. Poor little Wes, and Annalise. How sad.
OH CRAP, THAT’S NOT WES.

ParticipantMarvel fans: Fitzsimmons, May and Coulson, and Peggy and Daniel are there too! Vote for our adorable babies, ya’ll đ

ParticipantA bit late, but I don’t think Wes did it. I think he found her like that and then picked up the knife, but I don’t think Wes killed her.
I’m interested in the explanation for Frank killing Lila though…did Annelise know it was him all along?
I also think the videos are being sent by someone in the Keating 5…Wes, maybe?

ParticipantI hate to say this because it hurts but what if Christoph didnât live. That the stress of what happen with Wes mom cause a still born birth.
But wasn’t Christoph the kid in the flashback bring questioned about his mom’s suicide? I don’t know…all the children in that episode confused me.

ParticipantAgents of SHIELD also handles split seasons well.
Agreed! They make the breaks seem so natural. They always leave an intense cliffhanger, but we’re still left with an intact storyline to build off of.

ParticipantI agree that itâs sad to see a thread that was once so positive and full of hope this dismal though :/
This thread is plenty positive. We talk about what we want to talk about. We analyze the show, we analyze the ships, we analyze media and culture and literature and art. Sometimes we post gifs of Mikey. Sometimes we post gifs of SF. Sometimes we post SF videos. Sometimes we have a âremember whenâŚâ moment. Sometimes we chat about getting together for weekends. For the regulars, thatâs positive. Thatâs normal. Thatâs what happens after being together for 2-5 years. It seems dismal to those who donât frequent this site/this thread but weâre having a free exchange of ideas and doing real critical analysis. Whatâs more positive and pedagogical than that?
You’re right…I didn’t word my statement well enough. I meant dismal in regards to the show/plot/character development. I look at this thread a lot, but don’t usually post, and I do enjoy seeing the fun MRJ posts and other quirky-fun things about the fandom

ParticipantI just donât understand why you guys still watch the show if you hate it so much. Iâve never seen so much negativity in a forum about a show that we all still watch. I personally still think they can turn things around and get back to telling the stories properly, mainly because they have always said that they have an end game. So once they stop stalling with story lines they clearly were never planned in advance, I think the final half season or season or whatever could be really great. But for those of you who feel like Nealâs death killed the show and itâs past the point of fixing it, I donât get why you still watch it. Despite itâs huge flaws, especially in this last half season, I still enjoy it, so Iâm still here. Are you guys just determined to finish it out because youâve invested all this time already?
For me, the only reason I still watch it is because one of my best friends still loves the show, so I watch it with her as a reason to spend extra time together. If the show is still continuing after she graduates (which is doubtful…she’s a college junior), I’m not going to watch anymore. Â I agree that it’s sad to see a thread that was once so positive and full of hope this dismal though :/
