Participant“Um doesn’t killing off your character if you don’t want to leave kind of another way they are saying, “You are fired?””
Yes. On one of my favorite shows, they recently killed off a character, but the actor is still staying on the show even though his character is dead. (Long story…) My point is, with a show that treats death as lightly as OUAT, keeping MRJ as an actor shouldn’t have been a problem if they still wanted him around.

ParticipantI’m so glad they’re bringing the theme back. That was so fast though! But brilliant! And young Mr. Presley has a great voice.
I’m so excited for the finale tomorrow…hopefully it doesn’t end up being the series finale *fingers crossed*

ParticipantOy! Humans of the forums: how about some more responses here plz.</p>
<p style=”text-align: left;”>
Your wish is my command, lol. I don’t have much explanation though because everyone else has said what I’m feelin.
1) The Dark Swan. Loved seeing DO Rumple as Emma’s voice in her head.
2) Bear King. Why was this a thing we needed to see?
3) The farther it went along, the less I liked it. I watched one of the episodes with my dad, who is a big English Lit guy, and when he saw how the show treated Arthur’s character, he said That’s an embarrasing interpretation of a great story.
4) Merlin. He had a very calming manner.
5) Hmm…I quite liked Charming teaching Regina to dance
6) The dagger being a part of Excaliber…so cool
7) Rumple being evil all along…so remind me the reason for purifying his heart again? And was him sacrificing himself for his family in season 3A part of a bigger plan? I was really touched when he called Emma brave in the finale, but then they had to ruin it.
8) C- One of my friends who is behind on the show asked if it was worth watching again, and I told her sure, if plot doesn’t matter to you. Oh! And in the finale, they must have said ‘the kind of man you/I want to be’ twenty times. So. Much. Repetition.
I really miss seasons 1 and 2torrie
ParticipantHey all! So this episode a lot of hype leading up to it. It was supposed to be the ‘biggest’ episode they’d ever done. Though the episode did have some incredible special effects (the scene with the sparks from the telephone poles raining down at the beginning of the episode was beautiful!), I was a tiny bit underwhelmed.
First of all, I’m not onboard the Daisy/Lincoln ship, but their kiss was very sweet. Poor Mack having to listen in haha. I haven’t really shipped Daisy with anyone except Ward, and because Ward is an evil psychopath that didn’t work out too well. I think Daisy is stronger on her own…she’s kinda like Elsa, IMO.
I’m definitely a fan of May and Hunter working together…they’re a pretty solid team. I’m worried about Hunter though…he killed his friend just to get into Hydra. May even looked a little concerned.
Speaking of May though…did Andrew break up with her? I’m hoping we get a flashback or something! Andrew doesn’t seem like the type to walk out over nothing, so I wonder what happened. I’m a hardcore Philinda shipper, so I have a head-canon that Andrew thinks May has feelings for Coulson, so he broke up with her to get her to realize she love Phil. Probably not what happened, but until we find out, that’s what I’m going with!
Speaking of Coulson…he is getting far too friendly with Rosalind. I have to admit, her car is beautiful. And those hand puns were pretty funny…I can almost picture Brett writing that scene, lol.
But Coulson, oh Coulson, what were you thinking about giving up Lincoln?!? He is far too attached to Daisy…he needs May to reign him in and make him think logically.
And finally FITZSIMMONS. How adorable are these two? Their date was very sweet…Fitz was so gentle with Simmons throughout the episode. But why does Simmons want to go back?? After all the team went through to save her, why?
Anywhoo, let’s hear some other thoughts, ya’ll! Or is it just SFG and I who use this thread 😉 😛

ParticipantHeyyy so episode 2 is under our belt! Usually the second episode is a lot duller than the first, and though there was less action, I was just as engaged as I was for the season premiere.
So Ward is back…yay *sarcasm*. I actually do enjoy watching Ward onscreen although my loathing for him has exponentially increased since his torture of Bobbi. It seems like Ward is running HYDRA how Garrett would’ve run it, with the ‘if you want something, you have to earn it’ mentality, which was super evident in how he took the Von Strucker kid under his wing.
May! It was so good to see her, even if she was just chilling with her dad in Arizona. It was also really sweet to see her interact with her dad…he calls her Mellie! How adorable is that?
I loved seeing Hunter go to May for help. I think the last couple episodes of Season 2 really brought them together, and I’m excited to see their friendship develop during Season 3. They are polar opposites in terms of personality, but I think they’ll find they have more in common than they initially believed. I’m sure their quest to murder Ward will be quite an interesting experience…we’ll probably see a much darker side of Hunter than the snarky, romantic Englishman.
I *still* really like that Coulson keeps calling Daisy “Skye”, especially when he’s worried about her…it’s very father-like. I’m kind of hoping there will be a point when he calls her Skye, and she doesn’t correct him…let her stay ‘Skye’ in Coulson’s eyes.
This episode had a lot of sass/humor, (Coulson getting blamed for the prison break, Ward buying tacos, the interactions between May and her dad, Hunter’s reaction to hearing Simmons was okay) which I think is a really good artistic decision especially since some of the themes are so dark.
The one thing I would’ve changed about this episode is that Coulson and May talked about what happened to Simmons. I wish that a) we could’ve seen that conversation to know what the new dynamic between them is like or b)she wouldn’t have let herself be contacted by them…maybe Coulson had told Andrew who relayed the information to May. I just didn’t like how two characters with such great chemistry had a really important off-screen conversation.
FITZSIMMONS REUNITED!!!! Yes, they rescued Simmons a little sooner than I predicted, but those two are just so adorable together.
And the ending scene…Hydra Jr. being in Andrew’s psych class is not going to end well…I’m afraid for Andrew’s safety. If I had to pick a character to get killed off sometime soon, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Andrew go, which is a shame…I like Andrew. And I like that the show didn’t force him and May back together. They’ve both clearly moved on, and I think they have a really great friendship.
The next episode looks like some Skye/Hunter shippers might be happy. I’m not really onboard that ship…I don’t think they’ve had enough time to develop romantic feelings for each other, but we’ll see what happens. Apparently episode three is the ‘biggest’ episode they’ve ever filmed…I can’t wait to see what they come up with!
Other thoughts?

ParticipantHey everyone!
So that was a pretty cool Season premiere! Here’s some general thoughts I had while watching the episode:
First of all, that one-hour timeslot seemed to go by really quickly! They barely mentioned two main characters (May and Ward), and they still seemed to be rushing a bit because they have so much material to get through.
So Mack and Daisy are partners, which is interesting. They’ve never been the best of friends, but they seem to be working okay together.
I like how Coulson is struggling with calling Skye “Daisy”. It seems natural that he’d have a hard time calling her something different.
What is the deal with Hunter and Bobbi? They’re relationship confuses me so much! In their scene together, they’re a normal couple (or as normal as it can get with those two), but in front of everyone else, they can’t talk to each other.
It’s really weird seeing Bobbi working in the lab, though she looks like she’s doing alright. I know it’s Mockingbird canon, but the show’s never mentioned her bio experience…
Between Mack being attached to Daisy, and Bobbi working in the lab, it looks a bit like they’ve found “replacements” for Ward and Fitz.
What’s the deal with Lincoln? Why is he so adamant about staying away from SHIELD/his Inhuman identity?
Rosalind is an interesting character…I’m sure we’ll be seeing a lot more of her in coming episodes. I don’t think I’m a huge fan of her.
Lash is scary. I don’t know why he was so angry with Daisy/Lincoln, but I’m sure it’ll continue to be an issue.
Fitz is absolute perfection. Iain better be nominated for an Emmy…he has done an AMAZING job with Fitz’s development over the past couple seasons. I love how tough he was when he was talking to the Moroccan gang. Oh…HE LOVES SIMMONS!! I know he’s implied it since Season 1, but it’s nice for him so actually say the words…hopefully he’ll be able to tell it to Simmons soon!
BUT THAT SCENE AT THE END!! With Coulson and Fitz!! Again, Iain’s acting was complete perfection…he was so desperate and heartbroken. When Coulson said “May left on vacation and never came back, and now I’m missing my right arm too” I almost sobbed. She better get back to the team ASAP! But again, back to Fitz, when he was screaming at the monolith at the end…UGH, so good!
Why did the scroll say Death on it? Clearly Simmons isn’t dead…she’s just somewhere else.
I think this is it for now…can it be next Tuesday already? Lol

ParticipantHERE’S THE TRAILER AND IT’S AMAZING AND OMG.
Whoa. That was quite intense. It’s a crazily star-studded cast, which should bring a ton of viewers who otherwise wouldn’t give it a second thought.
Scarlett is going to make an incredibly seductive Kaa…the only issue for me is that her voice is so recognizable that I’ll be picturing Natasha Romanov in my head the entire time. Lol
The trailer did look really good though…I hope they sing 🙂
