It’s the first time we’ve heard it on screen. From what I can tell, it’s short for Matilda and it means “mighty in war.” I really don’t know why they chose it except that there is a Tillie in the Wonderland books, in a very small side story the Doormouse tells to Alice.
The dormouse connection seems to have been implied towards the end of the episode by Rogers, who described Tilly (after she calmed down due to her meds) that she was now “quiet as a dormouse”.

That line made me wonder if it was Drizella.
Hmm, that would be an interesting idea.
rainbowkisses&unicornstickersParticipantI liked the reveal. At first I thought the chess board was a red herring but when the shot paned close to the black rook, I thought, “Nope, she’s definitely Rogers’ kid.”
Personally I don’t think Rogers will care if Alice is gay. She’s his baby girl and I believe he’ll be happy to have finally found her after being separated for so long. Just as casually as Alice herself mentioned in the episode that she used to have an ex-girlfriend who worked for Belfrey, Rogers could have a casual line about Alice going on a date and asking how it went with the gal or something.
rainbowkisses&unicornstickersParticipantI doubt Henry will return Ivy’s feelings for him. It does suck for her that the one time someone is kind to her, he happens to be a guy she is falling for, except he likes her stepsister (Jacinda). I kind of appreciate that Henriella’s romance thus far is not a mirror of Snowing’s almost instantaneous mutual pining that quickly evolved into an unstoppable love. While this is indeed a show about fairytales, I like the realism of Henriella, which does reflect some real life relationships, where one person may be attracted to the other first and it takes the other person a very long time to see the latter as more than just a friend. Both in Hyperion Heights and the New Enchanted Forest, it appears Henry fell for Cinderella/Jacinda first, although in HH, he’s definitely more hesitant since he has the baggage of a (fake) deceased wife and daughter.
If Ivy becomes jealous of Henry and Jacinda becoming more than friends, it could make or break Ivy. She could choose to take the high road and be mature about the situation, or she could spiral down deeper into being the mean girl of HH and be more susceptible to Victoria’s machinations in order to get “even” with Jacinda for taking the person she is interested in (Henry).
As for why Ivy is so desperate for her mother’s approval, she stated in the episode that she has no one besides her mother. This shows just how lonely Ivy is deep inside her own heart. I wish she and Jacinda could be true sisters who love and trust each other as family.
