Except we might not see any of those characters and even if we do their cameos will be meaningless.
On the contrary, in case you forgot, Ginnifer spoiled in an interview after s6 that she and Josh can come back soon. And this may be it if they can make.

We have not thought anything. Not everything gets announced sometimes, and sometimes things are kept secret or sometimes told by a lie. Remember, Dave Filoni, the created of Clone Wars and Rebels said that Darth Sidious will not appear in s4 of Rebels, but he did after revedes in the Promo. Dave lied about it.
I still maintain that the final scenes of the show are going to be Henry taking Lucy and Ella home to SB to meet his family–we’ll never actually see them, though.
Actually we might see the family members like Snowing, Prince Neal (who might be an adult like Robin), maybe Wilby too, along with their friends. Except for Emma because of Jen saying she is only appearing in one ep, and that we were teased to have real information of her character’s absence.
Those last two paragraphs made it sound like a hint that they might do another season/continue the show and do a spinoff in the future. Maybe they might. But for now, they are on break. They made it sound like they are hiding something big, twisting, and surprising.
I wonder if the haunted house is in HH or in EF2.0 (or both?)
Or maybe in Storybrooke I might add.
Quite possibly, this set look more like part of Gold’s shop, because there is a cashier in the shop and window glass shelves that are known to hold fragile stuff.
There is a difference between things that can happen and things that should. They could have real Hook in fairytale clothes. They could have him interact with Zelena. They shouldn’t do any of that because it doesn’t make sense and real Hook is done. They shouldn’t have ever shown Storybrooke again though and fake Hook should not exist, but this show is terribly written, so stuff like that does happen. It shouldn’t though.
Only to you that it wouldn’t make sense, not for officially or for real.
Real!Hook has been wearing modern day pirate wear for awhile whereas Wish!Hook has been wearing traditional pirate outfits in the past (like with Henry and EF2.0). So…yeah, I think it’s still Wish!Hook
Actually Real Hook can so wear again his traditional pirate outfit in Storybrooke. After all, in case you forgot, Dr. Frankenstein was last seen wearing his traditional dr. Frankenstein outfit last season when being introduced to Dr. Jekyll.
If the Hook in the photo from the beginning of break is supposed to be Real!Hook then I give up trying to understand the timeline at all. Also, 100% agree that seeing Real!Hook is not a good idea at this point; it’ll only confuse the general audience and, more to the point, his story (and Emma’s) is over–he went off to be a father and a husband and that whole story ended.
And if that is not Emma we saw but Gothel in disguise? Since it was somehow hinted that she will appear to Robin. And on the contrary, it so can be a good idea that this would be the real Hook, cause it would tell and hint us what really happened to Emma after his and Regina’s conversation in 7×02. So that story sounds clearly not over.
