He believes he’s responsible for the death of his son. Neal is very important to many characters in the show right now, who are behaving in certain ways under the belief that he’s dead.”
So Belle and his grandson arn’t enough reason for him to live? *bangs head on desk* Adding to that is the fact that it was fucking Tammara that shot Neal, not Gold, and nothing to do with magic cept for the beans that the GIANT grew and REGINA stole. So anyways, Rumple is basically thinking suicide mission = redemption now? Did he perhaps think he misunderstood the prophecy the way he did before? EG “Ride into battle on cows” not being literally cows but saddles. “Be your undoing” could mean the undoing of the Dark One, stripping his powers, not necessarily death.
I love the Rumple character, his complexities and eccentrics and humor, but sometimes I wanna slap him for being blind.
