ParticipantThe way I see it there are only three people that have ever had possession of the curse, Malificent, Regina, and Rumple. The fail-safe had to have come from one of them.
It is really unlikely that it came from Malificent, since Regina said that her punishment was different from everyone else’s. It seems if Malificent would have put anything in the curse that might have benefited her that Regina caught it.
Rumple, I can only see him wanting a fail safe for two reasons, because Bae has gone to another realm or has died. But Regina didn’t know why Rumple wanted her to create the curse. He told her to figure it out. So I doubt that there was a Baelfire clause in there at all.
Rumple asked Regina for the “please clause” and she agreed to it…so that proves to me that she was capable of altering the curse. So I think that the failsafe is Regina’s doing in case it was her last chance to (literally) destroy the happiness of Mary Margaret and David, although I think that she would prefer watching them suffer if at all possible. Going into this curse she didn’t think that there would be any magic besides what she had brought, and she knew about Jefferson’s hat. I wholeheartedly agree with those who said that the failsafe is Regina leaves. Eventually even an Evil Queen could get tired of revenge.

ParticipantMy guess is that Malificent’s was different because she was already in prison and in dragon form when the curse hit, and Regina brought her along (much like all the magic in her vault) in a prison that was likely magical to hold her. Maybe in 2×20 we find out a little about why Regina might lock her up (but it could just be the power thing, but Malificent did have intimate knowledge about the curse because it was in her posession for a while. Maybe she knew how to break it and could have messed with it)

ParticipantThey said that he was effected by the curse. He was in the fog of the curse which is why he was unaware of people not aging. It wasn’t until he got the book from Mary Margaret that he starts to become aware of things.
That’s almost a direct quote from the podcast.

ParticipantI have watched this video about 40 times and noticed that over the hill full of bodies there are too female figures standing. One is probably Snow, but any ideas who the other one is? (I can’t tell if it is the peasant clad Lana or not)

ParticipantNo chemistry between Hook and Tamara at all…he wasn’t even trying to charm her. Either he knows better, or he really does like Emma.

ParticipantThis whole exchange Regina has with Henry is so outside the realm of reality that I am beginning to wonder if Tamara didn’t steal Regina’s spell book after getting the information from torturing her. I can see that being a Regina altered, or even someone else pretending to be Regina. She does cast a spell from the book on Henry.

ParticipantThis could easily tie in to Tamara being RH and Marian’s baby, and would explain why Rumple wouldn’t have used their particular brand of land jumping (I think if that wand was able to jump worlds Rumple would have been all over it). If the only lands RH and Marian travel between is EF and Neverland that would make sense. Tamara said that you can always count on a pirate to do your dirty work, and where would she have had experience with pirates except Neverland. I don’t think that Robin Hood would have been a good Pan, but I do think that being a thief in the enchanted forest might have made him a good pirate in Neverland.

ParticipantFavorite moments- The kind of upturned half smile Rumple gets after he says… an accent you wouldn’t soon forget. Priceless.
Least favorite- Besides him catching Lacey with Keith (I could have puked) The curtains were open….didn’t she open them when in her blue dress…what happened…now the whole time line is making my head hurt.

ParticipantHaving watched the episode twice now something else jumped out at me. When Tamara says (I am paraphrasing) One person you can always count on to do your dirty work is a pirate. She says it with such conviction it almost sounds like she knows him (and it seems that when she went in the closet to get her stuff that she knew who and what she was looking at)or has dealt with pirates before. Sounds like she has more of a Neverland connection than an EF one.

ParticipantI love how Rumple always comes to her defense, but I am ready to watch Belle be her own hero too. I know that it is inside her.
