Henry told Emma she was in the book and we know the part about her being hidden in the cabinet is in the book. Is Rumple’s prediction about her return in the book? If so that could have prompted Henry to go get her specifically ON her 28th birthday.

If I'm not mistaken, Rumpel will be attending therapy sessions with Archie in episode 1×19, the same episode where we learn more about Bae.

I agree with Midnight Dreary on this one. We all know that you are not Rumple’s biggest fan 😉 but an unchallenged love-fest doesn’t always make for the most interesting discussions. As long as we can all stay friendly, the different opinions make for a more lively conversation.

I don’t think we know yet if Gold has any fake memories. They established in “Skin Deep” that Gold remembers who he is, and he said to Regina, “Now that we’re being honest with each other…” He didn’t say, “Now that I remember who I am,” or something along those lines. I think it makes more sense that Rumplestiltskin/Gold had all of his memories the whole time. That explains why he would have gotten Henry for Regina, rather than just a HUGE coincidence. It explains his use of “please” with Regina.
We know that Rumple gave/sold the curse to Regina, and it is probable that he created it. It makes sense that he would have created a loophole for himself. Knowing he would retain his memories explains why he secured Regina’s promise to grant him anything if he says please, and why he was so desperate to know the name of Snow’s baby.
That said, I think we can safely assume that Gold has been following Emma’s life and whereabouts since the beginning. I agree that his comment about Ashley’s baby being born in jail was a very pointed remark, knowing that Emma could relate to that.

I know, right?!! It’s totally silly but fun. I remember on the Lost forum getting a ridiculous thrill when a new object showed up in an episode, or took on new meaning, and being the first one to get online to grab it! I was the keeper of Locke’s coffins and Ben’s funky grave-digging tool. Couple other things that I can’t remember right now.
