David Nolen/Prince Charming:
In FTL David lived the life of a shepherd’s son until Rumpelstiltskin made a deal with him to take the place of his then-unknown twin brother James, who had been raised a prince. David accepted the deal, but was unhappy as the ruthless King George’s son, especially when forced into an arranged marriage with Princess Abigail. That all changed the day he met the fugitive Snow White, and after a rocky meeting, a few head wounds and a new nickname, fell in love. They were then on a journey of escaping their raging parental figures, winning back a kingdom, and always finding each other. After a long battle, and the painful loss of his mother, David and Snow married and together reclaimed the throne. Their lives were happy until The Evil Queen Regina promised a curse that would destroy that happiness and the only way to break it would be to get their unborn child to safety in a wardrobe that could only save one. Though the intent was to send Snow through, she went into early labor and the only choice was to send their baby, a girl named Emma, alone. David took the infant and fought off multiple soldiers from Regina’s army with her nestled in his arm, love for his child giving him strength. He got her to the wardrobe, kissed her goodbye, and fended off the guards long enough for the magic to whisk her to safety, being near-fatally wounded in the process. He would remain in a comatose state for 28 years, until his daughter Emma arrived and found them.

They wouldn’t want Bae anymore because he’s grown up, but they would probably be happy to substitute for his son, plus the drama of Henry disappearing is much more hard-hitting to all of the characters involved since he is the one person who unites everyone. (I think Regina goes to NL too, and why else would she except for Henry?)
And WHY would you think Granny would die??? I think I would cry like I would for no other character.
I just want some tshirts. I went to a comic convention and they had tshirts for EVERY tv show on right now…but no Once.
And you know those adorable little Disney dolls they sell at B&N, that have the big heads? I want a Rumpel one!!!!
I was wondering where the keeper things came from…lol
Has anyone claimed Emma’s chainsaw and/or Snow’s Mama Bear Tackle?
I see Charming’s Single Tear has been taken…else I totally would have claimed that!! 😆

I’m really disappointed about this, especially since I was thrilled to hear about the book. I came on this board to see if everyone else is as put off as I am, and it would seem so for the most part!
I’m a writer, and I’ve studied writing styles for years. I’m not professing to be a pro or even a published author, but this writer simply isn’t all that good. She’s not bad, but the writing seems amazingly amateur to me. On the fanfiction website it would be fine (if, let’s be honest, kind of boring in a world where writers can make whatever they want happen) but I just would expect so much better from a published, authorized novelization. In fact I can name any number of writers on fanfiction.net that would have done a much better job. I’m also pretty sure I could do a better job, too, lol. (But that would only be too cool for me 😉 )
NO…you know what would have been the BEST? If Jane Epsenson wrote it!!! Ugh. That would have been amazing.
I agree with others who said that it’s kind of insulting that they’d just throw this at it when it’s obvious not a whole lot of care was taken with it. (It doesn’t even look all that well edited for crying out loud.) To be honest, I’ll still buy it, if for nothing else than to support Once merchandise because I WANT Once merchandise…but I’m bummed. 🙁

Rating did get a big hit this week, but the live +7 numbers for “Miller’s Daughter” just came in and we were in the 10.5 million viewers overall with an 3.0 ratings share.
ABC is pleased with the show. Yes, our live #s could be better, but we’re getting a season three without any question. I think the writers have learned a lot this season.Okay, I panicked a bit there, but it’s not just one. Barbara Hershey, Eion Bailey and Sebastian Stan too, though I sure hope the latter comes back next season when he’s all done with Captain America.

Only bad part is they appear to have skipped her birthday on the show and I mean…really? The series, especially the pilot, revolved around this woman’s birth…and not even a mention? Snow get’s a whole episode dedicated to her birthday, and according to spoilers for Lacey Henry gets a birthday, though I'm assuming it's a belated party because I don't think he could be twelve yet, and I counted the candles on his cake. Only eleven.
