Looks to me like Grampa Rumpel gave Henry a birthday present the rest of his parental figures don’t approve of! Lol. 😆
I’m still confused as to why Henry and Snow get on screen birthdays and not Emma. -_-
And I just can’t get over those pics of Gold and Lacey. He looks like kicked puppy! I just want to hug him! My friend doesn’t understand why Belle has a cursed identity since she was just locked up the whole time. I think the curse automatically gave her an identity, (the worst version of herself) and I wonder if she hadn’t been locked up, if she and Ruby would have been BFFs because from those pictures, it looks like the girl has been taking lessons from cursed Ruby. 😆

And WHY does everyone get a birthday besides the one person who’s birthday STARTED this whole show? Hm???

Exactly! They didn’t even go into the station to look around! Are they THAT used to people in town going around trying kill everyone else?! I laughed when Emma said she wouldn’t let it be in vain because a) it was said so dramatically…I don’t know, it was just funny and b) let WHAT be in vain? He didn’t actually manage to warn you of anything.
If the people from Criminal Minds showed up, they’d have this and every other mystery in town wrapped up in about 10 minutes. (Hehe, my friends and I joked about how the opening scene of Welcome to Storybrooke was like an opening to Criminal Minds, and then when Snow was walking up to the creepy trailer August was in, one of my friends blurted “Are we in Criminal Minds again?!”

And thanks to Jane, there was honest to goodness reactions about things! (Like the entire conversation about the fact that Whale is Frankenstein. “What when on here while we were gone?!”) Not to mention she’s the one who brings up the hilarious point that MM slept with Whale. That breakfast scene at the end was possibly my favorite scene of the entire show.
Other writers in other episodes didn’t handle the reactions to certain things right at all, and it wasn’t the fault of the actors. Like the way David found out about Emma’s magic was weak as heck, and then of course the ridiculous reveal that Archie was alive when he appeared at Emma’s door. (She and Henry were like, Oh, that’s nice.)
However…That Still Small Voice…I’m gonna have to agree with you on that one. But I stand by my Jane and say she did what she could with what she was given. 😉
Yeah, but go back and look at that photo, Tamara’s grandmother was an old woman. When Rumple killed The Fairy Godmother, she was quite young.
On the other hand, I’d buy that maybe that was her mother, and Tamara was raised by her grandmother. But I also think Tamara was telling the truth when she told August that she wasn’t magical, so if her mom was a fairy, she wouldn’t be “quite human” as she put it. I’m leaning more toward her being Morgan Le Fey, which could explain her interest in magic and her seductress nature. Maybe she got stuck here at some point and wants to go back. And making her black could be their way of hinting her relationship to Lancelot…maybe?
Ugh, instead of “Sorry, Papa,” or “She’s..she’s…” the FIRST word out of the his mouth should have been Tamara!! I mean, come on! Just watch, since all he got out is “she”, they’ll all probably think it was Regina. 🙄
Man, I love those two for creating all this to begin with, but I wish Jane could write ALL the episodes. Hers are, in the opinion of just about every fan, by far the best episodes and make the most sense!
And tiara_rose, what do you mean 5 more seasons? Are they already renewed for that many?

I still think he’s going to come into play with the crop. I don’t think he’s a bad guy at all, but in his head, Storybrooke is a town out of the Twilight Zone and he probably thinks everyone is nice on the outside, crazy on the inside like Regina. He probably thinks Tamara is just trying to help him find his father and expose the town. No, his intentions are not for the good of the town, but I don’t think if he knew what was really going on he would want to hurt anybody. I think Emma and company will find out about his father and offer to help, and in exchange maybe he’ll offer to help with the bean plant.
But as for the topic starter…yours is a very good explanation, so good in fact, I don’t even think the show is going to be that logical with it. 😉
