They can explain it all they want. She was wielding a taser like it was a serious weapon, and it was ridiculous.
[adrotate group="5"]wewerecursedParticipantUGH…somehow that’s worse to me than a regular taser that can kill everybody. Blah. Lame. Not liking this! Stop it, Once!
wewerecursedParticipant^ Also, everything TheEvilOne just said. That too.
March 25, 2013 at 4:22 am in reply to: Favorite / Least Favorite Moments "Selfless, Brave and True" #182053wewerecursedParticipantOverall I didn’t like this one at all, but it did have a couple good moments for me:
Favorites:
Snow burning off steam by listening to loud music and shooting a tree. I immediately thought of last season when she walked in on Emma listening to heavy metal and dismantling a toaster! She totally got the idea from Emma! Also, I mentioned this in another thread, but I Bad Reputation is by Joan Jett and the Blackhearts. Haha…that’s awesome.
Snow punching Marco. Okay, I don’t really blame him, but I was seriously afraid they weren’t going to address the subject of the wardrobe at ALL. It wasn’t enough of a discussion in my opinion, but I would have punched him too. I mean, poor Snow, on top of all her other problems she learns she could have gone with her daughter? Dang.
Henry’s power of summoning. We need Blue! BAM You rang? 😆
Snow and Charming’s talk at the end. “You promised not to get angry!” “I’M NOT ANGRY!”
EVERYTHING Regina said. Everything. “Try the fish, blackened sole.” “Juice cleanse, does wonders for the skin.”
Okay, I got distracted and obviously missed the Charming Family Hug. But luckily I still have it recorded, so I’m totally going back so I can see this properly!
Least:
There are a lot, but my absolute LEAST favorites….Tamara’s stupid taser. That was so lame…but kind of funny.
Tamara.
August turning into a kid again. What a cop out.
Tamara able to kill a Dragon and a WOODEN MAN with a taser.
I liked the Dragon. Why did he have to die so soon?
Nobody ever noticing Tamara lurking in the shadows.
What did you EXPECT to happen to Hook? Did you really think he’d just stay locked up in that closet? He’s Captain Hook for crying out loud. Besides, someone was BOUND to find him eventually, and did you seriously want him to stay in there and die, Emma?
Tamara.
Taser.
wewerecursedParticipantUgh. I didn’t like this episode. I won’t say I hated it, because I LOVED the Snow shooting arrows at a tree scene, (Bad Reputation by Joan Jett and the BLACKHEARTS! Hahaha.) And even though I was hoping for MUCH more resolution to the wardrobe debacle, I was starting to think they weren’t even going to mention it so Snow slapping Marco made me very happy. But overall…I think it sucked.
Emma didn’t see Tamara twirling her mustache in the diner when Snow came in talking about August? Seriously?
WTF is with the Taser?! Okay, yes, it IS possible to kill somebody with a taser…but…but she just looked so ridiculous running around with it!
SHE KILLED PINOCCHIO WITH A TASER. Um…wood doesn’t conduct electricity well. He was made of wood. How the heck did she kill him with electricity?
Of COURSE he couldn’t manage the ONE word: Tamara before he died. Of course.
WHY didn’t anyone comment on Tamara being there after Pinocchio poofed into a boy? Can she make herself invisible?
I won’t say anything about Henry’s summoning ability, because when Blue popped up that was just hilarious. I actually loved that.
Anyone else notice that only Snow was wearing an appropriate expression when Pinocchio poofed into a boy? I mean, yes, everyone is just happy he’s alive, but she was the only one who looked appropriately “what…the…heck….”
And the whole episode felt very rushed and sloppy. I wish they’d slow down a little, everything is just too crazy. They’re not allowing enough time for the relationships. Like last season, there was action yeah, but they actually got to sit down occasionally. I love this show, and I’ll never abandon it, but this ep just didn’t do it for me.
wewerecursedParticipantI don’t think it can be reversed, I think she’s just going to have to learn to accept that she has darkness in her, because EVERYONE has darkness in them. I bet if it were possible to snatch Emma’s heart, she’d have darkness from the crappy life she lived. On that note, who’s to say the darkness is just from killing Cora? It could have started when her mother died…the first tragedy in her life, or when she was banished by Regina, or when she chose to drink that potion (which, um, hi, was dark magic too.) I think once she gets over her depression and comes to terms with it, she’ll be a better person for it.
For now, someone needs to get that girl a Zoloft cupcake. (If you haven’t read the fanfic Once Upon a Parody…you need to now! 😆 )
wewerecursedParticipantYeah guys, it’s clearly Regina. But that still of her Slurpeez posted is hilarious. 😆
I was wondering, too though, how the heck did they take photos in the EF??? I’m going with a continuity error.
wewerecursedParticipantHis lectures to his family can get a little grating, and I’m getting tired of his grudge on Emma, but I was completely sold on him in this episode when he turned to dynamite to solve his problem. That is SO how an eleven year old boy would react. In fact, I think this was the first episode that he really acted his age. Plus I can totally understand a child’s reasoning that since he sees the well as the link between worlds, blowing it up could stop the flow of magic. It’s not a logical notion, but eleven year olds are rarely logical.
Also, it doesn’t matter what Regina does, Henry will never want her to be killed. No amount of reasoning, no amount of believing it’s the only way to save the rest of his family will make him want her dead, with the possible exception of Regina killing Emma, but even then he just doesn’t have it in him to hate that much. He probably thinks she should be punished for all she’s done, but in his little boy mind he remembers her as being the mom he used to make things for. It’s clear that at some point, she was a good mother to him. Who could blame him for wishing everyone would just stop fighting and get along? He’s too young to know it isn’t possible. If this show goes on for several more years, I look forward to seeing his evolution from an idealistic boy to whatever this battling will turn him into.
March 20, 2013 at 11:13 pm in reply to: Regina couldn’t just use a phone like everyone else to call. #181232wewerecursedParticipantSo how come they’re suddenly trying to make phones huge again?? (Android Note, anybody? lol)
I LOVE that Lana wanted crimped hair, even though I agree with the writers that it made more sense to have her look the same. I would have liked more of her adjusting to suddenly having all these memories of technology and trying to apply them to her life. (Her line about going back to New Jersey with “The Boss” was delivered PERFECTLY!)

Does he want to expose them? Far as he knows, no one can get into that town. I imagine he has spent years driving down that road trying to break the barrier. Remember, at the moment he broke through, Rumpel and Belle were standing ON the line, like keeping a door open. So he is probably doubtful about getting outside help. He probably wants to figure out exactly what he is dealing with, so he can find his father and get out safely. The other thing, he is a sci-fi fan (star wars ring tone) so maybe he is thinking they are aliens or something. Even seeing Regina levitate things might make him think of the “force” rather than magic. Similar I suppose but magic is crazier!
I agree completely, he probably thinks they’re all aliens. I love that they made him a life-long Star Wars fan!
The pictures on his phone were of him all over the Maine coast, clearly searching for Storybrooke. But 28 years had passed, and his memory of the place had to have faded a lot, so maybe it was his first time on that road or not, but like Neal said, there are no coincidences! Also his ability to cross the line could be because he was there when the curse hit.
I do think he wants to expose them though, the same way some people want to find bigfoot or reveal the existence of Area 51. His “Her,” whoever she is, is almost certainly his partner in finding “the truth.”
