1) Merlin is returning in 5B. Maybe he shows up in the Underworld, or appears as some sort of spirit (like certain dead Jedi do in Star Wars).
I think you hit the nail on the head Matt…this has got to be it. Adam and Eddy wouldn’t let something like this pass up with Merlin showing up to guide Emma like in Star Wars.

So ABC Studios had a meeting with Elliot Knight on the 12th and a meeting with Adam/More than likely Eddy on the 15th. I wonder what’s with all the meetings.

At least Regina is making an effort to do this….I’ve seen some people who are still hung up on the fact that Regina doesn’t show enough remorse and should do this whole broadcast on pleading for everyone’s forgiveness and showing her remorse (even despite nearly losing her life many times trying to save the very people she cursed/harmed), so hopefully once she does this in the Underworld, her victims will be able to move on in peace because they would have finished their unfinished business, which is receiving a proper apology from a remorseful Regina.
In a way, even though she killed them, she’d be setting them free to move on to whatever happy, Heaven Like Place that the good souls go once their business is finished. It’d be coming full circle in a way, the person who caused their deaths have come to set them free into a place of peace.

Oh! So breaking the curse, escaping out of EF away from Cora’s wrath, battling Cora, bringing Neal home, going to NL to try to rescue her son from Peter Pan clutches, leaving and then returning to Storybrooke to battle the Wicked Witch, sucked into the past, fixing and then escaping the past, owning up to and accepting her magic, battling the Queens of Darkness/Rumple, sacrificing herself to save Regina and Storybrooke by becoming the Dark One, battling the darkness, succumbing to the darkness, then becoming free of the darkness was the opening act of Emma’s journey? (Sarcasm drenched in venom)

1. We’re going to get a lot of the Evil Queen in the second half, she’s making a comeback! – Lana Parrilla

If we ever do cross over into Princess and the Frog territory, lest we forget that Dr. Facilier was dragged to Hell (Underworld), so it wouldn’t be that hard of a guess who could potentially serve as a Season 6 villain should he manage to sneak out of the Underworld without our heroes noticing themselves being followed out….and if we do get Dr. Facilier, I vote for Tristan Wilds for Prince Naveen and Adrienne Warren as Princess Tiana!
