ParticipantYes but you know what really bothered me? “Lady Mary Margaret” Okay, 1) she’s Snow White and 2) She’s a Queen in the Enchanted Forest. GAAAAAAAH
That bothered me so much. I mean, yes they’re in Camelot, but aren’t they also technically in Fairy Tale Land? It’s all the same realm. She should be going by her actual name.
Are they in Fairy Tale Land? Or is Camelot a realm of it’s own? Because surely Arthur and Camelot would have heard of the Evil Queen, who was declared one of the most fearsome villains, second only to the Dark One….surely they would have known Regina wasn’t the Savior!!!!
But I just told myself, Camelot is just it’s own realm living next door to the Enchanted Forest like Wonderland and Oz. Though I maybe wrong, but to silence that voice that says “This doesn’t make sense” I just go with the flow.

ParticipantI will definetly be here for the sass offs between Hades and Dr. Facilier. And I think @MattewPaul is right, Dr. Facilier might be the surprise villain we all end up loving like Cruella.
To add to the princess and frog theory, lets all recall this quip from last season when regina said something along the lines of:
Regina: Tomorrow, thanks to Gold and the Author, I could wake up a talking Frog.
*sniff sniff* Does that smell like FORESHADOWING to anyone else.
Nice catch @TW!!! I never thought twice about this line, but given what we’ve been seeing, this could definetly be taken as foreshadowing to me!!!!
Adam and Eddy have taken quite a few notes from the Bible…why not take that biggest one with the Savior sacrificing themselves by taking all the sins and darkness upon themselves, dying for everyone and descending to Hell, only to be resurrected in the end with all power in their hand.
Though I am very eager to see how exactly the CharMillStilskins will get Emma back because we all know how Hades feels about what belongs to him.

ParticipantI really think that the only way to save Emma is for her to choose to be saved by giving up the power herself, probably in some sort of sacrifice. What the impetus for that is remains to be seen, but it’s likely a heady combo of Henry, Snow/Charming, Regina, and Hook being threatened by some thing so Big and Bad that it triggers the humanity in Emma.
Something really didn’t add up in 5×2. Last week Emma was desperate to be rid of the dark power after she nearly killed Merida, but this week she wanted to keep it after she healed Robin? But Emma was already able to use her light magic to heal people (Emma healed her mother in 4×21 when Lily accidentally hurt Snow). So why on earth would Emma want to keep the dark power to heal people when she already had the ability to heal with light magic??? That makes no sense whatsoever. It’s not like Rumple, who was powerless to begin with before he killed Zoso; prior to becoming the dark one, Emma, as true love incarnate, was already arguably on her way to becoming the most powerful white magician ever if she’d continued her magical training with Regina. So, Emma shouldn’t have had the same motivation to keep the dark magic as did Rumple, since she already has all the white magic.
Does Emma still possess light magic though? Based on her reaction to her own magic in Episode 2, I’m inclined to believe that the Dark One Curse wiped out all of her light magic, and now all she possesses is dark magic….which makes me so confused because she’s still the incarnation of True Love.

ParticipantIt seemed to me an odd song choice. Like, it’s great that Henry’s into the classics and all, but really, out of ALL the songs, they went with THAT one?
that was my feeling as well.
I gotta agree with this….I think borrowing the tune Can You Feel The Love Tonight would have been a far better song to play during all the ships dancing.

ParticipantYeah….I’m uncomfortable with the whole Robin Hood is the damsel in their relationship….he may not have magic, but past season has shown he can stand his own ground against magic beings. I hope Adam and Eddy fix this soon.

ParticipantI’ve been banking on this Underworld theory since the summer, I can only hope it comes true! It makes absolutely perfect sense, and if this is the final round for OUAT, @MattewPaul’s right, Adam and Eddy have to pull all their cards out if they really wanna go out with a bang!

ParticipantIf we really do get Hades for 5B, I predict he won’t be the sole villain. We may be getting a male equivalent to last Seasons’s Queens of Darkness, which I guess I could call the Kings of Darkness. This would include Hades, Jafar (finally appearing on the parent show), and perhaps Dr. Facilier. Those three villains could also mean Hercules, Megara, Aladdin, Jasmine, Tiana, and Naveen appearing as well. If Season 5 turns out to be the final Season like many here have predicted, my Kings of Darkness theory would make sense. They’d want to squeeze in as much as they haven’t done as possible before ending the show. Not to mention, so far this Season is chalkful of recycled plots.

ParticipantWhen he met Emma, he didn’t say anything about “Hey, I don’t mean to….BARK at ya, but I think you should LEAF this movie theater and come free me from some random tree. I know it’s scary but i’m…ROOTING for ya, hahah….but no seriously, come help, I’ve got termites!” He just told he to stay away from Excalibur.
ROFL!!!! @TheWatcher, I love this!
And also…. we only know that Merlin is trapped in a tree because Arthur said it. I think we all agree he is quite shady. And what about apprentice? Surely he must have known Merlin was permanently cosplaying treebeard, right? But he never mentioned it? Or even said where Merlin is. Nah. I don’t trust this. Something isn’t adding up. And I am betting Arthur isn’t being as truthful as he claims. Merlin is not in that tree.
THIS! I don’t trust Arthur or Gwen…something just doesn’t really add up with what they’re telling the gang. They seem pretty desperate to unite Excalibur with the dagger, and I just have a bad feeling about them.
Whoever it is or whatever it is can only be freed by reuniting the dagger with Excalibur and doing so will probably unleash something even worse. I am betting Morgana is the one in that tree. Or black fairy. But not merlin. This is why he warned Emma. Don’t use Excalibur.
I’m leaning more so towards this head cannon…I don’t think Merlin’s in the tree, something far worse lurks beneath those roots.

ParticipantOh God it seems to be a David Centric Episode…..help us!
OUAT David Centric Episodes are like one of Rose’s St. Olaf Stories from the Golden Girls.

ParticipantI could totally see the end of this season being that the Fury comes back and takes Emma to the Underworld. If they do that, and make it her journey back from the Underworld (a proper heroes katabasis) then I’ll forgive them for making this part of the episode feel so random.
Did you just predict the cliffhanger for the Winter Finale? Episode ends with the Fury taking Emma off to the Underworld.
Yes. Yes I did. In fact, cookies on it.
Heck, I’m putting down one thousand cookies too!
Last Scene will be Emma riding in that boat with Death being taken to the Underworld, of course after she sacrifices herself for Storybrooke by letting the Furrie suck out her soul along with all that Dark One Magic.
