I’m going to try to guess it now…
In the Winter Finale 5×10, right before she does something absolutely truly horrific, Emma’s going to make the right decision in the end by choosing to truly sacrifice herself by dying with all of that darkness and we’re going to see as Cora put it “All that darkness burst off into the atmosphere” or something along those lines, thus destroying the Dark One Curse forever.
And then the Spring Premiere Half will focus probably on Greek Mythology with Emma in the Underworld where she will interact with lots of Hercules characters, thus bringing in 5B Villain Hades whose going to face our heroes who wish to resurrect Emma from the grave, easier said than done when you’re fighting against the God of the Dead.

Wonder who that guy in the robe next to Hook is? Could he be Merlin? Or maybe he’s the original Dark One, since the robe looks similar to previous Dark One robes that Rumple and Zoso wore.
I thought it was Zoso…but if it’s not him, I’m guessing the Original Dark One.

4. Regina has her happy ending (mostly).
Emma going the dark side is balanced by Regina’s full embrace of the light. It’s been an evolution in the works for several seasons now, and finally, fans get to see Regina get the happy ending she’s yearned for in the form of Robin Hood (Sean Maguire, now a series regular).

Actually I’m pretty sure you could given that Camelot and Arthurian lore is full of lost love, unrequited love, love affairs that go wrong, and broken marriages. I mean, which tale about Camelot screams “PLEASE FALL IN LOVE HERE?!” Is it Uther Pendragon disguising himself as Golois in order to sleep with the Lady Ygrain? Is it Arthur and his sister getting it on? Is it Gwen and Arthur’s not-so-epic marriage? Is it Lancelot and Gwen who brought down a kingdom? Is it Morgan and her unrequited love for Lance? No, really. Tell me. Which Camelot story screams “romance.”

Prayer circle for Ruby, y’all.
Yeah…I think Ruby is at the top of the list. Emma killing Granny would have an effect, but not a bang like it would be killing Ruby. If she did kill Ruby, I get the feeling it was during their time in the Enchanted Forest which pushed Emma into becoming full fledged Dark One we know she’ll become.
I guess Killing Cruella Pre Dark One started it….and Killing Ruby as the Dark One will finish the transition for Emma from Good to Evil.

TVLINE | We’ve heard a lot about Emma feeling “freed” from Savior-ing, but beyond that, what kind of a Dark One is she? Is she vengeful, is she power-hungry, does she have a bone to pick…?
HOROWITZ | She’s a very motivated Dark One. There’s a real driving force behind what she’s doing and why, that we will unfurl. It’s not like a rampant, uncontrollable evil that’s been unleashed. Emma as a non-Dark One was a very smart person who did things for a reason, and I think that translates.
KITSIS | She’s clearly going to be hiding something from the audience that will be revealed as the first half of the season unfolds.What was happening to Rumple is now happening to Emma….something dealing with her heart and all the centuries of darkness she had willingly taken is killing her, and she needs to find a way to survive.
TVLINE | Will we get to see Emma do decidedly bad things? I feel like when Regina went on that “bender” with the Queens of Darkness, you were torn between having her doing bad things but “we can’t make them too bad” — so they just, like, torched a police cruiser.
KITSIS | Emma is going to do something particularly bad coming up, and to the people she loves.Somebody’s toast….Emma’s going to kill someone.
TVLINE | You promoted not just Sean Maguire but also Rebecca Mader to series regular status. What’s the plan for Robin and Zelena?
KITSIS | Robin is really just picking up from last year; he is with Regina, we know Zelena is carrying his baby, and Zelena is the “wild card,” so to speak. She’s like the Hannibal Lecter. We can never really trust her and we never really quite know what her motives are, but we absolutely know we should be frightened of her. In the premiere, people will see why.Obviously Zelena’s baby will be a prodigy at magic, as his/her mother was. But hey, if Rumplestilskin and Regina can find redemption, I don’t think Zelena should be excluded. Maybe having something that is finally hers and can’t be taken will satisfy her envious nature once and for all, after all envy is her only real issue.
This may be an awkward way to bring together the WickedSisters, I mean after the fights they’ll be having in 5A, probably won’t have the two of them have another nice heart to heart till the middle of 5B, but I’m sure the wait will be worth it. And as long as I see that Robin is with Regina, and both are happy, that’s all I need to see to keep me happy!

Past come back to haunt us? Okay. So who’s the villain for that? Cora, Pan, Ingrid, and Cruella are dead. Mal is reformed and Ursula went to live on Forgotten Character Island. (that really just leaves Zelena)
If they’re really heading down the Zelena Mother Redemption Arc….5A could possibly be the last we see of Truly Wicked Zelena, like that last moment of wickedness to shine like Regina was in 2B. 5B will probably mellow down Zelena’s wickedness…..
As for the villain…I’m waging the Original Dark One will be the villain for 5B. If all that darkness is extracted from Emma by 5×10 Winter Finale, then I’m wondering if the darkness will just take it’s original shape/form and be our 5B Threat.

Emma poofs the entire town into the Diner, blocks off the doors and sets the place a lite with fireballs thereby killing the entire town.
That’ll be the 100th episode.
