ParticipantThe 7th episode of the Season is normally a wild card. Season 1 it was Graham, Season 2 it was Red, Season 3 it was Belle, and Season 4 it was Ingrid.
Merlin’s Centric Episode…calling it now!

ParticipantHere’s a question for WickedRegal since she loves OQ but anyone else can feel free to weigh in: Do you think Regina would snap at Robin if Henry was unconscious and he didn’t know what happened even though he was at home which is where Henry was? She would apologise obviously but do you think she would snap at him in the first place?
Of course…absolutely. A woman may love her man, but her child always comes above all else. I’d snap at the tv at Robin for her if she doesn’t do it, you were in the house, how in Oz do you not know what happened to Henry!

ParticipantI didn’t really understand the backlash with the apple, but I do agree it would have been cool to use one of Emma’s symbols in the same place. You get a little with the feathers with the eyes, but its subtle.
The main reason for the backlash isn’t just the apple itself, but the fact that they’re recycling the exact same poster design as the Season 3 and Season 4 poster. All they did was replace one character with another, while making the apple look different. It comes off as lazy.
I’m willing to bet that if we ever get to a Hercules Centric Arc…we’re gonna get a Golden Apple. Kinda like with Arrow, there logo is a literal arrow, and Grey’s Anatomy has the red life line logo under the Grey’s….the apple is just OUAT’s logo.
Black feathers would have been a nice touch and a perfect homage to the Black Swan, but the Black Apple really represents how dark and rotten Emma has become as the Dark One…it’s symbolic. And it’s also a nice throwback to this scene where Emma crushes a black rotten apple, and says Rotten to the core. Now that I think about it…it could have been foreshadowing since Season 1 Adam and Eddy’s direction with their main character Emma.

ParticipantThat’s three Seasons in a row that have used the same apple concept for the poster.
I think because OUAT centers around Snow White’s Family…the Infamous Apple has become a type of OUAT Official Logo. It does add a nice “Rotten To The Core” touch.

ParticipantIt could just be a one time thing for the first episode. Don’t we know Emma goes full Dark One by the end of that episode and gets imprisoned?? Or is the CC clip not canon? Anyway, yeah, that could be it.
The SDCC clip is not canon
Though I am curious as to whose going to be Emma’s first kill…that clip may not have been canon, but it sure could be foreshadowing.

ParticipantSo is “Rumple” like a manifestation of the Darkness teaching and tempting Emma to succumb? That’s the only thing I can think of.
Satan tempted Jesus forty days and forty nights in the wilderness…..
I can definitely see Adam and Eddy doing a similar route with Rumple and Emma.

ParticipantI don’t know how to feel about this….I mean, what would the ending be? Genie being imprisoned in the lamp? That wasn’t his happy ending, that was a terrible imprisonment….his happy ending was being free at the end of the Aladdin movie. So unless this does like Maleficent, and show his origins but also show the Aladdin movie where he gains his happy ending….I can’t see how else this would be a great movie.

ParticipantEVERY SINGLE TIME!! ALL THE BEST SCENES GET DELETED!!!!
That Belle and Rumple scene….such feels! Belle really understood him.
And that Regina and Rumple scene…the banter between those two!!! I just love all of Lana and Robert’s scenes, I had Season 1 feels all over again!
And the last one…the last one was just everything. I just realized we practically had no Henry and Regina scene in Episode 20 Mother, and given the flashback, that scene with Henry and Regina should have been there! And Robin and Henry hugging….the Papa HoodMills Feels are exploding in me! And Emma warning to turn Lily into a toad was golden! OutlawQueen Feels & WickedSisters Feels and David reminding Regina that they’re family because he’s her son-in-law…..EVERYTHING WAS IN THAT ONE SCENE, AND THEY CUT IT!
