Regina is giving me strong Night Club Owner vibes here! Which oddly, I think suits her. No one will ever compare to Mayor Mills, but I’m actually a little interested in seeing what a footloose, care free Regina looks like.

Vladimir Ruzich is very tall, dark, and very handsome like Colin O’Donoghue is, but I agree that he does have more of a Mr. Gold vibe about him (what with his tailored suit). Also, Gabrielle Anwar certainly has a S1 Mayor Mills look about her. It’s basically a rehash of S1. *Lather, rinse, repeat*
Could he actually be a new version of Rumplestiltskin?

It’s going to be hard knowing two different Rumplestilskins…like if Vladimir is the new Rumple, would he also be the Dark One in that version of the story or is that specifically tied to only to Bobby’s.

Hopefully we can just grin and bare whatever muddled mess this Season 7 will be! Who knows, maybe it’ll make sense in the premiere…or it could get worse.
If there are multiple versions of the relams and stories it’s also potentially a way to give all the different fandoms a happy ending– so in one realm Neal never died. In another, SQ is canon. In another rumple gave up magic for belle early on, ECT ECT ECT.
I think there are Alt Universes like you described like with the Wish Realm, where the characters are basically the same, but there are a ton of what if scenarios involved. But there are also Universes where entirely different versions of these characters exist that share nothing in common except maybe the same names and a few basic plot points. As an example, let’s say we were to get another version of Rapunzel in “New Enchanted Forest”, but she was much closer to the Tangled version, and was even accompanied by characters such as Flynn Rider and Mother Gothel. I hope they somehow address this on screen, cause I would imagine Henry would be as confused as we are, the moment he meets the new Cinderella/his future wife. “But wait, you can’t be Cinderella. I already met Cinderella, and she was a completely different person.”
So in a way, this could be their chance to redo stories that they probably didn’t put their best effort into originally? Now that I think about it, Jefferson did sort of tease the possibilities of many, many other realms and universes back in Season 1. So in this New Enchanted Forest…could the EQ, Rumplestilskin, & Captain Hook actually have been….”heroes” rather than villains, especially given the new jobs we see Killian and Mr. Gold having as policemen.

Should we just burn the entire timeline because this is going to be the most confusing season yet. New characters playing already established characters….geez Adam, was this really the only route left to take with the show?!!!

So Season 7 is basically a rehash of old fairy tales played by new characters? So there could possibly be a different Snow White, Evil Queen, Prince Charming, etc.???!!!! So Lana, Colin, & Bobby will be playing different fairy tale characters all together?!!!! Adam…what the hell?!!!

I doubt it’s wish realm Hook since he’d be older. And fatter. And drunker.
Well if this really is a new curse, it could’ve “reverted” him back to the man he used to be. Original Hook, I just don’t think he’d willingly give up his hook for some reason. Hmmm…I don’t know, I’m jumping back and forth between this being the originals or wish realm right now, at least until we receive more set reports.
