ParticipantAnd that makes taking her heart, her free will, her choice, her safety, and her ability to be a normal human okay?
It doesn’t. But it darn tootin ensures that an evil sorcerer imp won’t be doing any reality bending writing. Or Regina could do nothing and put everyone at the mercy of Rumpestiltskin.
Exactly!!!
It’s either have some leverage to save Storybrooke from Rumple’s wrath, or doom everyone to it.

ParticipantMaybe next season will be better for us…
Because history has shown that OUAT gets better with each season?
You do have a point there…

ParticipantAnd if holding Belle’s heart captive is what ensures Rumple doesn’t go on a killing spree in Storybrooke, and turn the Savior dark…then so be it.
Belle is a person (granted a fictional one), not a pawn. In the story, she has feelings, hopes and dreams; she has free will, a spirit, and is important just by virtue of being human. Regina has harmed Belle enough times to last 100 lifetimes. Regina had best not go after Belle; instead, she should go after Rumple’s dagger if she wants to control the dark one.
I understand all of that…but Rumple is a loose canon right now. And the only thing that can stop him is Belle, and I’m sure he won’t even listen to her! So Belle’s Heart is collateral in this situation because it ensures the wellbeing of everyone in Storybrooke against Rumple’s wrath, while Regina and Emma are away.

ParticipantEither way, Regina is stealing Belle’s heart, against her will, so it’s still a morally dubious thing Regina does. Even if it’s done for the sake of saving Robin, Regina taking Belle’s heart by force just doesn’t sit well with me. If Belle never learns of Regina’s stealing of her heart, and therefore Regina never gets caught and/or never apologizes, then it becomes an even bigger moral issue.
I agree. Regina’s treatment of Belle is terrible. I never bought Regina’s apology to Belle in 3B, and her stealing Belle’s heart only proves that she doesn’t give a damn about Belle. Regina’s been alright in 4B with Robin out of the picture. Why is it the moment he’s reintroduced into the story, Regina’s character development starts going down the drain?
I’m quite sure Regina does give a damn about Belle because that is her son’s step-grandmother, and quite frankly…didn’t Rumple threaten to kill ALL the Charmings if anything happened to Belle back in S2 when he was leaving town to find Neal?
That threat was sort of an insurance policy to ensure her safety, which is the exact same thing Regina is going to do Belle in order to make sure that Rumple doesn’t touch The Charmings, Emma, and most importantly Henry while she travels off to save Robin Hood and Roland from Zelena because Rumple was quite serious in the fact that he’d turn Emma dark and probably kill anyone that stands in his way, and to ensure that doesn’t happen while she’s away…Regina needs the one thing Rumple loves most since Neal died, his wife.
And if holding Belle’s heart captive is what ensures Rumple doesn’t go on a killing spree in Storybrooke, and turn the Savior dark…then so be it.

ParticipantBut she mentioned both times for the exact same reason: to flesh out Will as having someone significant in his life pre-Ana and pre-Alice. Both times it was the exact same story: she fell through the ice and drowned, and it serves to show that Will has lost someone and it affected him. Both times it reads like only a story to serve Will, not a larger plot.
That. I think the only reason she’s been mentioned twice is to fill in people who didn’t watch WL.
Penelope is also a Dryad and mother of the god Pan in Greek mythology.
Will’s sister is Rumple’s grandma, CONFIRMED.

And we thought the family tree couldn’t get weirder.
Hmmm…that would mean Will is now dating his grand-nephew’s wife. Seems about right for this show. I LIKE IT!

ParticipantRIP Roy/Thea Ship!!!!!!!!!!!!! All that’s left on Arrow now is Olicity….
At least Olicity will be getting it on in the next ep, so that’s one ship they’re not killing off right now.
Neal Cassidy is better than everyone on this show.
1. Sooo ready for Olicity to turn down the lights, light the candles, and turn on Marvin Gaye…
2. Neal was the most realistic character on Once…Emma used to be but she had to go all Charming on us…

ParticipantYa know how a few weeks back one of my ships on Arrow got sunk when one of them “died”. This week on Arrow another of my ships sunk…and they’d just recently got back together too…but then he fake died and had to leave town because he couldn’t be seen by everyone when he was meant to be dead…and she’s currently almost dead and will actually die but will be brought back to life but probably will be an unhinged version of herself…so that ship was basically blown to pieces. Stupid show! Never shipping again!
RIP Roy/Thea Ship!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All that’s left on Arrow now is Olicity…. 🙁

ParticipantLet me guess. The Author was Cruella’s first love. He offered to rewrite her story so that she’d be happy, but instead, he betrayed her and wrote her as a villain. That leads me to ask, just what is Cruella’s idea of a happy ending? Is it to be loved by the Author, or perhaps her mother? However, I don’t think Curella is going to survive for her happy ending. I have this foreboding feeling that Cruella may die in this episode at the hands of Regina. In 4×16, Regina warned Cruella, “Lat a hand on my son and I’ll end you.” Now Cruella is set to target Henry, despite Regina’s ominous threat. Don’t mess with Mama Mills (or Emma).
Given that both Ursula and Maleficent lived…that’s also my concern for Cruella. It’s not a half season arc until a villain dies on OUAT….
