…why? Think it through, guys. We have 3 villains that need back stories and 11 episodes to do it. We have one Af-Am actress playing a villain. Logic, guys.
Well…logically Ursula is the most expected choice.
But considering nine times out of ten, we have Aladdin in Season 5….I’d say we get a very very brief glimpse of Jasmine before then, just like we got a glimpse of Robin Hood in S2 before S3.
But Ursula…it can be high expected for young her. But why is her name Miranda?

I doubt the tape won’t come back up again, since it’s a vital piece of Rumple’s backmail against Hook.
I don’t think so. We’ve had other things that have appeared to be important at the time but have never been shown or explained again. For example: Snow’s dark fairy dust, the whistle Graham gave to Snow, Red’s cloak, Pan’s parchment of Henry’s face, etc. The tape was used to get Hook in line but now it’s served its purpose (and Hook has gone beyond what the tape showed) so now it’s not important.
Also, Belle would be annoyed in regards to Zelena’s death, because she made Rumple promise not to kill her.
Belle would be annoyed in regards to the lying and deceit but not the fact that Zelena is actually dead. When ever Belle has asked Rumple not to harm someone, it’s more for Rumple’s sake rather than the other person. Belle would be disappointed that Rumple gave into his hate. She won’t be shedding any tears for Zelena.
Regina would also not be happy, because she honestly wanted to give her sister a second chance, and Rumple took that away from her.
Regina shouldn’t have had the right to decide whether or not to let Zelena go free. She wasn’t the one that suffered the most at Zelena’s hands. Zelena treated someone like crap and that bad deed caught up with her in the end. It’s no different to Hook seeking vengeance on Rumple in season 2. Likewise, Regina killed Graham out of revenge for him leaving her and nobody has called her out about that or given her a hard time about it so why should Rumple get such harsh treatment when Regina got away scot free?
There’s a difference between killing someone in self defense, while they threaten to kill everyone, and killing someone when they are already defeated and vulnerable. Zelena was powerless and no longer a threat, so she did not need to die. Rumple didn’t kill her for the defense of the town either. He killed her in the name of vengeance.
Again Regina killed Graham because he left her and nobody called her out on it. Zelena wasn’t an innocent little victim. She knew Rumple wanted to kill her, she taunted him with it when she had him under her control and she continued to taunt him after her defeat when she thought he couldn’t do anything to her. She only changed her tune when Rumple revealed that he wasn’t bound by a command not to hurt her.
I. The Zelena Situation
Yeah…Ummmm….Zelena wasn’t after Rumple…she was more so after Regina! Therefore, Regina had the right to decide what to do with Zelena….although Rumple was an outside victim, Regina was her main focus.
And to be honest…just as you think Zelena killing Neal came back to bite her, yeah, Rumple TRAINING Zelena came back to haunt him. He knowingly toyed with her, and was going to manipulate her just as he did Regina to cast a curse. Rumple DID NOT have the right to kill a defenseless woman because like @MP said she was defenseless and already beaten. Her sentence was a Second Chance, I mean, Sweet Oz, it’s not like Regina just let Zelena out of jail and roam around town as if everything was alright. Regina had her behind bars, which should have been a good enough punishment.
As Regina told Rumple, who haven’t they killed to get what they want. It’s sad but it’s true, Neal was a casualty, that if truth be told wasn’t directly by Zelena’s hand as Neal knew there would be a heavy price to pay, and he said to heck with it, which was very OOC on his part because he of all people knew that magic came with a price. So we can’t give Neal’s total death to Zelena! Rumple has killed families, and did a heck of a lot of devilish things for about three centuries just to pollute an innocent woman’s life into casting his curse….as far as we’ve seen, Zelena’s only killed one person and she shouldn’t even take all the credit for it! Rumple denied a woman her second chance, and frankly I wouldn’t be surprised if it was more than just Neal, we know Rumple holds grudges and killing the child whose mother tricked you out of, as well as previously denied you the silver slippers, I’d say worked into that as well, but that’s just my headcannon.
Rumple should have followed his own advice, and not be hypocritical, because as he told Regina, you can’t have everything. And I pray to God that this blow up in his face like never before! It’s one thing to kill a threat, it’s another to just kill a defenseless woman who cried and pleaded for her life. AND before anyone brings up Maid Marian, might I add that she had a chance that she did not take…like heck, she should could have just lied to Regina about Snow’s whereabouts instead of not saying anything at all.
It was Regina, that Zelena was coming after, therefore it was Regina who made the call what to do with her afterwards. I mean, Regina even gave the dagger to Belle, probably because she knew Rumple wouldn’t agree with her decision, and just hoped it would’ve been enough to console him. But Rumple not allowing Zelena to experience a second chance, probably cost him his own in the process…everything comes with a price.
II. Graham
Unlike Zelena, Graham really posed a threat to the curse. Does it make it right, heck no, but is it something Regina had to do to preserve her son and her curse, then yeah! Every war has it’s casualties, and frankly Regina got away with murder, yep! Are we shown her remorse for it, no, but based on how far she’s come, I think it’s safe to say that she wishes there could have been another way to handle that situation. And less we forget that Graham did break into her crypt, and then humiliated her in front of her worst enemy…like you couldn’t have just told her that in private? Why you had to tell it all in front of Emma? But that’s besides the point….Regina didn’t kill Graham because he didn’t choose her, she’s not that petty, she killed him because he was posing a threat to her curse. Again…Not Right, but something that had to be done.
III. Henry
Unlike Rumplestilskin….Regina would have understood that Henry would NOT have wanted her to backslide! That would not have been his wishes, just as it surely would not have been Neal’s! So Regina would have probably never forgave Zelena, and have nothing to do with her, but she would not have killed her because that’s not what her son would have wanted. And lately, Rumple has shown that he doesn’t give a crap about what his son would have wanted. So we can’t compare two different parents because both would have made very different decisions.

Cruella’s going to be Snow White’s evil aunt whose real name is Ella DeVille of the Northern Kingdom who was the spoiled baby sister of Princess Ava, and of course sob story happens and Ella becomes known as Cruella DeVille because of how cruel and devious she is! Therefore making Cruella, Henry’s great, great aunt!
I’m just going to go out on a limb with Ursula…if Triton and Ursula are siblings, and Ariel is her niece who married Prince Eric, who I believe is one of Regina’s many many cousins on her father’s side! That would make Ursula a very very very thin line relative to Henry. No doubt Ursula was denied the throne, as her brother got it and banished her, thus turning her evil.
And as for Maleficent….I want to say her connection comes in through David’s side of the family, but I don’t know how unless it was through David’s father. So I guess Maleficent is sort of…Regina’s closest friend. You know the aunt whose not really your aunt, but you just call her your aunt because her and your mother are so close. Though I’m not sure how close Regina and Mal will be in 4B…if being trapped in an urn for 30+ did a number on Ingrid, I can only imagine what being trapped in Dragon Form for 30+ in a cave underground did to Maleficent! I’m really….REALLY rooting for some emotional speech to happen between Mal and Regina over that.
