Hold up! Are people seriously complaining about Regina being upset with Emma nearly ruining her life?
Ok….Regina has every right to feel the way she feels right now! Let’s take it back to high school shall we darlings? You’re in love with an insanely charming, follow the rules, all around amazing guy! Then the girl whose supposed to be your good friend goes back and accidently reunites him with his ex. Wouldn’t you be pi**ed off a little too! So yes…Regina has every right to be angry with Emma, but it’s only for a temporary time.
THIS was the episode for Regina to vent, scream, curse Emma to the top of her lungs, just to get all the building anger and frustration out of her system! At the end of this episode, we were shown that Regina slowly took a step forward in moving past Emma’s accidental betrayal! Yes! A life was saved, but at the cost of someone’s long overdue happiness, and almost some much needed trust between these two women. Emma didn’t even verbally apologize for her accidental betrayal, but the mere fact she’s willing to stand by, and do whatever it took to show Regina how sorry she was, was a lot more than what Evil Regals saw Snow White even do….well Pre 3×18 Bleeding Through Snow White.
And for those saying there was no parallel between Regina and Lily…Yes there was! Lily blatantly lied to Emma, and gave her hope of them being together forever. Regina on the other hand was straightforward with Emma, and although she withheld the truth about Sidney, she never lied and gave Emma any false hope. Lily was a little fake, Regina was straight up honest, in a brutal way, but honest nonetheless.

Lana Parrilla’s Interview About 4×05 Breaking Glass and Emma:
“It takes a bit, because she feels betrayed,” Parrilla told us. “She’s hurt by Emma, deeply. She doesn’t know if it [saving Marian] was intentional. And it’s one day, where she’s just really upset and wants to punish her. And I think she just needs to get it off her chest and they’ll move forward. I’m excited about their relationship because they’re very similar. They have something they were born with, which is this magic. Emma and Regina don’t have a lot of people they can relate to. So it’s nice they find comfort in one another,” Lana said of what would cement an Emma-Regina team-up.
So please everyone…Cut Regina some slack for once. This was her episode to vent, and now that she has…her and Emma can just move forward now.

Wouldn’t it make more sense if these were really just visions Regina is seeing. Like alternate scenarios being shown to her by someone possibly through a looking glass. In order for Regina to get her happy ending she has to choose. Change the past, or, look to the future. Henry is her partner in Operation Mongoose, but in this journey he may also be the price she would have to pay for her HEA. I think she will see, or be shown, through some sort of looking glass, how changing her past would affect her friends and family, especially the no Henry part. I think she’s come to care for Emma, Snow, David enough that it wouldn’t be as easy as she thinks to grab her HEA if it means they lose theirs. We will see a few scenarios playing out, in visions, but in the end, out of frustration, Regina will smash the glass and choose NOT to change the past. But I think she’ll learn that she definitely is worthy of a HEA. She will look to the book to write future stories for her. Not change the stories already written.
I like this idea. What if the mirror was like the mirror of Erised out of Harry Potter?
I agree with this idea, it won’t retcon anything! Regina seeing that her choosing Robin back in the day, would cost her Henry…she’ll quickly decline the idea of changing the past. Especially when she’ll probably see that her and Robin would more than likely spend the rest of their lives running from King Leopold, who’d stop at nothing to bring back Snow’s mother/his trophy wife. A scenario which wouldn’t be the best Happy Ending.

So Lana and Sean are shooting a flashback scene together….okkkkk….so how did Robin and Young Regina meet now? Did she go into that Tavern and someone just wiped out her and Robin’s memories….(cough) Blue Fairy (cough) (They are filming with Keegan)

She was married to Leopold when Tink came to her right? Oh and Watcher this episode will air around Christmas right? So doing a Once Upon a Wonderful Life type thing would be right in with the holiday spirit!
Ooooohhhhh….that gives me an idea!!! The Ghosts of Christmas Past Present & Future….great opportunity missed for Adam and Eddy to have the Christmas Ghosts show either Rumple or Regina their past, present, and future!

They would still have Emma and she would still meet Neal, because I believe they are really true love. Henry would be born but I think it would be under different circumstances. Rumple could possibly get Mal involved in casting the curse. Without Regina becoming the EQ she would be the villain in the story.

Technically…I have No idea how Snowing would meet, or even if they would be together. Charming was engaged to Abigail, and would have surely married her had he not ran into bandit Snow. Snow White would have been more than likely betrothed to some other Prince in another land. Soo…I’m 50% sure Emma would have never been born, thus she never meets Neal, thus no Henry. Something I think Regina will see happen, and not like knowing that her son will never be born had she met Robin.
Maleficent wouldn’t be able to cast the Dark Curse because she had nothing she loved…unless of course we count the Dark Pony. Zelena was a maybe to cast the curse. Ultimately….it’s going to have to be Regina to cast the curse so I think she’s going to choose her son’s life over her own possible HEA, and just choose to find it on her own in present day.

Headcanon: The old wizardey mouse guy was the author of The Book. Now he’s been… uh… zapped into a hat? so the responsibility falls to the new Apprentice, Henry. (Think he can author his father back to life?)

But Regina goes into the tavern and meets Robin the following never happens 1) Regina does not persuade Sideny to kill Leopold 2) Snow is not driven from her castle 3) Snow and Charming never met 4) Rumple never gives the Dark Curse to Regina 5) Regina never casts the Dark Curse 6) Emma never leaves the Enchanted Forest as a baby 7) Emma never meets Neal and has Henry 8) Rumple never finds Bae because Regina never cast the curse. So, I’m going to go with NO on the whole “rewrite the story so that Regina goes inside the tavern”
The only way for all of this to happen is for Zelena to cast the curse, but that would mean that more than likely Outlaw Queen Baby would be the Savior! But I’d have no idea how Emma will be born….
