We’ve seen in S1 and S3, when Emma and Regina each broke a curse with TL kiss with Henry, so in OUAT-verse, we have learned TL is not limited to romantic love.
My question on this though is you’re only meant to have one true love at any one time. So if Emma was able to TLK Henry in season 1 and now Regina has TLK him in season 3, does that mean TLK between Emma and Henry no longer works? Plus since TLK has to be a two-way thing, does that mean that Henry doesn’t truly love Emma any more or vice versa?
I think that’s why Adam and Eddy have ventured into the Soul Mate category, to bring a definite difference between the True Love.
True Love means “you can have more than one true love….like the entire CharMillsStilskin Family can be true love at the end of the series, because they are family. True Love can be either family, romantically, or just emotionally in general.
Soul Mates, however, means that there is only ONE person for you in life. Much like the myth that the soul is split in two…Daniel may have been Regina’s True Love, just as Marian maybe Robin’s….but Robin and Regina are Soul Mates, someone you were destined to be together, and fate will unite no matter what.
Milah may have been Rumple’s true love, but Belle maybe Rumple’s soul mate….someone he was destined to be with. Despite the obvious age difference, I think soul mate pays no mind to age. Fate at free will, will set off a chain of events that will lead you to your soul mate.
Though everyone may not find their soul mate, they may find their true love, and just settle with that. But the connection won’t be as deep as Soul Mate would probably be…yes….the love between Soul Mate and Romantic True Love may vary greatly…hence how Robin and Regina so quickly fell in love in SB…it was an instant connection. How could Regina trust a man who she only knew for three days with her heart…he was her soul mate Robin, instant trust and understanding! Even in the FTL…Robin and Regina had an instant connection because they could match each other word for word, and Robin was one of the only men to ever stand up to Regina, and live to tell the story. The Soul Mate connection was always strong.
True Love can be anybody….Soul Mate means there’s only one for you.

Honestly, we had the whole Evil vs Wicked thing between Regina and Zelena just this Spring, so having a focus be Regina vs Elsa would have been redundant. Yes Regina has the most vocal fanbase within the fandom, but she’s not the only character on this show. So Elsa and Emma interacting is something I am totally all for.
I agree with Matt. It’s about time that Emma had a non-romantic FRIEND. Regina got Tink and then she got her sister, even if that was interrupted. Regina’s not the only character.
That maybe so…but Emma has her parents, her son, her brother, Hook, Ruby, Granny, Archie, the Dwarfs, and just about the rest of Storybrooke just because she’s the “Savior”. Emma has people….Regina has lost her mother, her sister, first true love, and more than likely lost Robin for now, and has NO one but Henry and Tink(who left for another show)! Emma could have had Anna, but I think Elsa and Regina should have become friends.

I know….but they make it sound like Emma is the only character Elsa could really relate to, and once you list the things they have in common, you only come up with two or three, whereas with Regina or even Rumple…you can come up with about five or more! And I did not say an Elsa vs Regina…I mean a more friendlier, future Best friends forever type of relationship with Regina and Elsa. The Queens have to stick together!

Wait a minute….wait a minute….somebody’s playing a joke right?
Did they….I mean seriously….this is exactly what the Evil Regals were talking about! How can you refer to Regina as the “other” mother….such a dismissive term. She just couldn’t be his mother….she had to be the other mother, the mother who raised him single handily from birth for ten years through holidays, colds, fevers, sickness, school years, baby years with diapers and spit ups! And they call her the “other” mother!!!!!!
Then….Emma and Elsa! It makes it seem like, Emma is the only real person Elsa bonds with, that Emma’s the only person Elsa has in common with. Now….if we go down the list, Emma has two things in common with Elsa…..uncontrollable powers and….ummm….I’m sure it’s something else. Oh yeah, and they’re both the elder siblings. But….you know what, I used to think it was just because I’m an Evil Regal, but social media has shown Once Fans having more interest in Regina and Elsa interaction. I mean Two Queens who both once felt like prisoners in their own kingdom, great magical power, obvious history with Rumpelstilskin, both let it go, one is ice and the other is fire, and both have sisters…..(sigh), I mean that’s a lot to bond about over a nice cup of tea. 😛

Majority of Storybrooke Residents have at least 30 years of experience in their position, the newcomers that have arrived such as the Merry Men, Phillip & Aurora, Mulan, and even the upcoming Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, and Maleficent. I wonder what their jobs could be?
Elsa – Obviously some position of power, queenly status and all….I’d love if Elsa became the Storybrooke School Principle.
Anna- Like her sister, I can see Anna working in a school. Perhaps becoming one of their teachers, who all of the students love! Can definitely see Elsa and Anna working together like that.
Kristoff- No clue right now…any suggestions for him? 😛
Maleficent- A Flower shop owner….I know, but because of her love for thorns….I just said what they hey! 🙂
Aurora: Any suggestions? 😛
Phillip: Firefighter! He has experience battling things fiery….
Mulan: I really think we need to up the Storybrooke police department! Emma and David can’t do all the work themselves…and Mulan knows how to fight!

The most confusing job for me right now is David Nolan. What is his job??? Is he the Deputy or the Animal Shop Assistant?? Is Snow White still teaching even?

Well….Miss Goody Two Shoes can get away with whatever she wants…she never had to pay a price. The Black Spot was only in her heart for a week, she didn’t do anything major to get rid of it. Even managed to con the dark curse itself, because she’s still got Charming. Snow White can have her cake and eat it too….sickening.
