And regarding the finale flashback, when was that scene supposed to have taken place? Was that supposed to be like their first date or was that something that happened later? I couldn’t tell for sure. And I guess that in addition to the story element (establishing Emma’s definition of home), it felt to me like that scene was also a send-off to the character since we most likely won’t see him again. And maybe it was supposed to sort of end his story on a somewhat positive note instead of dwelling on the (weird and, to many, unsatisfying) way he died…? I don’t know.
It’s their first date. At the end of the first part of their original meeting in “Tallhassee” Neal asks about getting a drink. Emma follows this up in 322 by remarking about how when Neal said drink she thought he meant somewhere with chairs. They are also holding coffee at the time.
Meeting your true love while stealing the car that he himself stole….Emma and Neal truly had one of the most unusual true love meetings, but it truly was one of the funniest and the best! At least they didn’t meet when Emma was frolicking in the forest, or singing by a wishing well 😛
Still no logical reason as to why they felt the need to kill Bae…as all of this could have been done with Neal alive. Here’s a question….if Baelfire had lived, do you think he would have been the one to break his father from Zelena’s control without them having to take the dagger? I think that could have been the perfect opportunity to parallel Rumple letting Bae go for power, and now he loves his son mostly enough to defy the power of the dagger!

And Adam and Eddy again, wonderful casting work for Elsa and Anna…wow! They really look like the characters!!! It’s just the Kristoff I’m a tad iffy about…but I’ll grow into it! 🙂

I got a question about Regina. It’s about her heart. Last time we got a really good look at it (Quite the Common Fairy, 3×03), it was dark but once she started talking about her love for Henry, it started to get brighter. And now that Regina has light magic, what do you think her heart looks like now? It can’t still be fully dark. She has a true love in Henry and another potential true love in Robin.
It cannot be fully dark, no. But I don’t think it can ever go back to being “pure.” That feels like erasing your sins, instead of learning to live with what you’ve done. The same goes for Rumple and even Snow’s little spot (and yes, I know there was some question about that after 319).
I don’t think her heart can go back either to be fully ‘pure’ but it would be nice to see what it looks like next season. Like maybe Regina has a meltdown again and removes her heart, sees what it looks like now (could be bright with some dark spots or whatever). And she did say in the finale it felt stronger than ever. Stronger, which I took to mean, that it’s a healthier color (red) as opposed to fully back.
I think the fact Snow White’s heart shown to be once again pure solves that issue…I think Regina’s heart can go back fully pure. If Snow can have dark spots that disappear, then so can Regina. 🙂 It’s a matter of whether or not Adam and Eddy wants it or not.

The Anna Casting…okay, I can definitely see it. But the Kristoff Casting…hmmm…I just don’t know about it….I just can’t see it personally, but maybe my mind will change once I see him actually on screen.

Much like Dark One is to Rumplestilskin, and Evil Queen is to Regina, Captain Hook is to Killian. It’s something that will forever be a part of him, it’s just how he uses that persona now that defines him as either good or bad, and in my opinion…he is neither. Hook is an Anti-Hero…the guy who gets the job done whether it’s the right way or the wrong way, and it has it’s advantages and disadvantages, but being an Anti Hero is somewhat better than being fully Hero or fully Villain.
Killian Jones will be Killian Jones, but when it’s time to put on that pirate hat, then it’s time to put on the pirate hat and be Captain Hook. 😛
