He is in some Oz traditions. In some he’s a con man, in some he’s a bumbling old fool. But in “Wicked” he is loathsome. Like…really loathsome. So I could totally see A and E making the WoOZ a real tyrant who rules his people with an iron fist.
INDEED!!! The wizard was truly a wicked man in the novel of Wicked (barely so in the musical). He doesn’t raise the witch though. He doesn’t find out she’s his daughter till after she has died, but still. That man was a terrible person, murderer, and he had the ability to do magic but couldn’t because he didn’t have the grinmerie (book of spells) So trust me. If Adam take that version of the wizard and use him in Once… Beware my friends. Beware.

Three Possible Ways Set Through WickedSisters Eyes!
1. Cora had an affair with a dashing Wizard, who gave her green elixir. Cora got pregnant, and gave birth to a green baby, who she kept isolated away from public eyes. (All power comes with a price)
2. Cora still had an affair with Wizard, however she gets pregnant. Rumpelstilskin curses the second born baby to be green, because of how Cora not only cheated him out of Regina, but broke his heart. (No one breaks deals with the dark one)
3. Regina and WWW are playing together when they were younger, and Regina accidently turns the WWW green. (Kinda like how child Elsa accidently struck toddler Anna with her powers)
