Poor Henry, I hope he’s not on a time limit because he still has to explain Belle’s parents, Aunt Zelena & cousin/almost step-sister Robyn, Hook’s half brother, and whomever’s bound to be included in the family before the series ends. LOL
I can’t lie: I 100% forgot about Zelena/Robin/Robyn because I was too busy trying to figure out all the greats and great greats.
LOL! It’s impossible to remember the entire family tree, ABC needs to release an official poster with everybody on it! X)

“My mom is Emma and my dad is Neal. He is also called Baelfire; he originally came from the Enchanted Forest but left when his dad–my grandpa, Rumplestiltskin–became the Dark One. Grandpa did this after his wife, my grandma Milah, left him to run off with the pirate, Captain Hook. He’s dating my mom now. Hook, my kinda sorta step-grandfather, not my grandpa, Rumplestiltskin. Though both are equally weird and incestuous. Fun fact! My kinda sorta step-grandfather Hook sold my father Baelfire to Peter Pan in Neverland. Turns out…Peter Pan? Totally my great grandfather. Isn’t that neat? Peter Pan was once called Malcolm and he had some sort of relationship with the Black Fairy. She’s my great grandmother. I’m part fairy! My grandpa Rumple got re married to a nice girl named Belle; they have a new son. His name is Gideon and he’s my…uncle? Step uncle? Now on the other side of my family tree, my mom’s dad is David. He was a farmer. He had a twin but the twin got sold by my Great Grandma Ruth and my other (non step) great grandfather. I don’t know his name. He died in a drunk wagon accident. The twin, my great uncle, was named James. He was raised by King George who is sort of my great grandfather? Who knows, really. Continuing on….my mom’s mom is Snow White. She was born to my other great grandparents Leo and Ava. Ava died when grandma Snow was little and Great Grandpa married Regina. Here’s another really super duper fun fact! Regina’s mom Cora, my non-biological grandma and step Great Great Grandma (more on that in a second!) almost married my Great-Great Grandpa Leo! They like totally made out and stuff. Leo didn’t like her that much in the end and she ended up marrying Henry who is both my grandpa and my step great great grandpa! I’m named after him. Neat, right? Oh. I almost forgot. My step great grandma, Regina? She’s my other mom!”

Well now the conversation is slipping into the other problem the show has……and that’s the ridiculous family tree. It was fun and cute at first, but if everyone is related somehow, it presents challenges when they need characters to have civilized conversations. They forget the past just to get through the conversation A&E need to build the current storyline. Still, doesn’t mean they didn’t do a better job this year than past years in regards to character moments and slowing down the plot a bit. There are still problems, but at least it wasn’t all of them going to a new realm, having a goal of taking down the bad guy of that realm, taking them down, and returning.

That’s why Season 1 was one of the most successful seasons…yes you had a villain and a goal to break the curse, but the front stage storyline was about fairy tale characters living day to day lives in a small town, each having their own issues and facing them. That’s the root OUAT needs to get back to. We need to see the core family discussing their issues, actually working out their problems, instead of always being distracted by the next villain coming around the corner.
Show us Regina and Zelena having therapy with Archie, Emma opening more up to David and Snow over a brief lunch at Granny’s, show us Hook going out and finding his own place in Storybrooke aside from being the Savior’s boyfriend, show us Rumple choosing to help Belle run the library as a start to repairing their relationship, heck, Henry facing issues at school over how dysfunctional his family tree is.
Adam and Eddy just need to tone it down on all the magic McGuffins, all the realm hopping, all the villain shows up-villain threatens-fight villain-kill villain-next villain scenarios…and just go back to basics.

Im guessing that under that mask she’s horribly deformed or something. Okay, place your bets: is Tip REALLY Ozma? I swear they are setting up Dorothy to be her.
My initial thought was that perhaps Dorothy was the long lost daughter of the Mistress of the South, meaning another one of Oz’s Witch Sisters….but I can see there being a chance she could be the real Ozma.
This last episode, West stole the show for me! Ana Ularu is giving Emerald City the boost it needs, however I still think they should bring back East considering literally everyone was excited for her!

That last episode was everything!!!!
Bruce & Jerome were just the ultimate highlight, I mean…Gotham Showrunners are actually setting up the stage for the twenty-thirty year long war between Batman & Joker, and it was just so much irony, even with Bruce being hesitant and ultimately choosing not to kill Jerome, much like Batman will do for Joker in the future. I thought they set the stage for the Batman/Catwoman dynamic with Bruce and Selina in the last episode, but this episode really just previewed the iconic Batman & Joker Feud.
Nygmapot….I really shouldn’t feel so sorry for Penguin, but I just can’t help it! Yes, he killed Isabella, yes we should hate him for it, but….God, I’m a horrible person! My heart shattered during their last scene, and I’m hoping somehow Penguin survives being shot…maybe Fish will come back and save him, I don’t know, but save Penguin!
Jim & Leslie…geez, you know what…it’s time for Jim to grow a pair, sit Leslie down somewhere and just tell her how he feels and why he did what he did. Clearly she still holds some feelings for him, and if he “lays down the law” one good time…I’m 100% sure they will be alright.
I don’t know what to think of this Butch, Tabitha, & Barbra angle, but it’s working.
Only little downslide was there was no Selina, but that’s alright. My only thing with Selina right now is, I think it’s time to truly set her up to be the Catwoman we know she’s going to be, even if she has to start off as Catgirl for now. And I’m really glad they’re finally setting Bruce up for his Batman route!

Maybe Belle is insane in the Wish-realm or evil? Dark Belle would be something we haven’t seen before. Lacey wasn’t really “dark”.
