ParticipantSo I do think this Funeral is for Hook and will be at the beginning of the episode
Promo pic of Emma at Hook’s grave shows a treebranch overhead. Shot of the umbrellas at the funeral looks like that part is out in the open, so it can’t be Hook’s funeral. PS. WR, i’m getting a new oven installed this week, so Imma bake you several batches of cookies to get you through this ep.
Thank you @Phee!!! (Hugs)
I’ll bring the Gin to the party if anyone needs any! 🙂
I think you’re right WickedRegal – there’s no way the funeral can be for Robin given Regina’s composure in that scene. Unfortunately, I think you, RG, and others are right that Robin will still die – which I’m extremely unhappy about. Does this mean he won’t even be given the usual treatment of having his farewell episode focused on him in the flashback, since that seems to be about Hades and Zeus?
I really hope that we get a Robin flashback, whether or not he dies. They promised us more backstory for him, in particular to explain why Robin claims he has a dark past.

ParticipantAt this point…would I really blame Regina if she just went back to being evil? Henry is really the only anchor keeping the Evil Queen from burning Storybrooke down in a fit of rage, something happening to her son is the only way Regina would go fully back to evil.
So Mr. Gold’s after Henry again???!!! I guess this is where that Seer’s Prophecy comes true, with Henry being his undoing, probably by destroying all magic.
And Lana has a point…Evil Regina did save a lot more time than Hero Regina….they were on Neverland for weeks until they finally let Regina do things her way. You guys help, I’m conflicted.

ParticipantYeah, he hasn’t that’s the thing. He was pretty open about his plans in 519–he flat out told he wanted to leave all the heroes in the Underworld and go to SB, just them and the baby. Zelena has a case of heart-eyes that is making her forget that or something.
Zelena assumed that Hades had a change of heart like everybody else was led to believe. Zelena was adamant about not leaving her sister behind, but Hades hid from her that he still wanted to leave them all behind.
And unless he still has some intent on using her baby to activate the time travel curse….this could really place Zelena into a position to kill Hades herself if Emma convinces her his real intent, maybe that’s what on the fairy tale pages?

ParticipantAm I supposed to be more outraged that Robin Hood dies or more disturbed that Emma gets to keep her Killy-Poo when both Regina and Zelena’s True Loves bite the dust?

ParticipantYeah I think it’s for both Hook and Robin. But who will kill Robin? IT’s not going to be Rumple bc they teased that last week. So I’m guessing Hades or Zelena. But man would that be a step back for Zelena if it was her. It has to be Hades. Whether the death sticks is a whole other question. But this looks like quite the episode.
It’s gotta be either Hades or Zelena. There was a little spoiler last week that Regina and Robin would team up to take someone down–the most likely candidate is Hades given that Regina and Zelena are on good terms at present. If Robin and Regina take down Hades then Zelena would want revenge (though, this doesn’t make any sense given the finale photos we have of Zelena and Regina hugging in SB?)
Robin Hood & Hades both die…both sisters lose their true loves in the same episode. Sounds like a Shakespeare play…
So I do think this Funeral is for Hook and will be at the beginning of the episode, had it been also for Robin Hood, I’m quite sure Regina would be just as an emotional mess as Emma is in the promo pics…Regina is just too calm for that to be Robin’s funeral.
Zoom forward, okay, it’s Robin and Regina vs Hades and Zelena….fight, fight, fight, arrow, fireballs everywhere, fight, fight, fight, and then they hear Emma approaching the scene so Zelena goes to battle Emma, who convinces her of Hades deception but it’s too late because Robin Hood jumps in the line of fire to save Regina’s life, thus killing him. This returns the Evil Queen with a vengeance, whose pretty much ready to kill everything, and goes on a full on rampage, probably setting up a new Wicked vs Evil fight, but Zelena is tricking Hades and ultimately ends up killing him herself with the all powerful Lightning Bolt, thus saving her sister and Emma’s lives and fully earning their trust.
And at the end of the episode, Emma is reunited with Hook while a mourning Regina and Zelena comfort one another over the loss of their true loves, as they realize that all they really have now is their “family”, their children, and each other.
So Once Again, A Charming Woman Gets Her Happily Ever After While The Mills Women Suffer Over The Loss Of Theirs. Cruella was right…the game is rigged.

ParticipantThe thing that I believe makes TLK work is sacrificial love. (I’m trying to figure out how Zelena & Papa Jones fit in with this, but whatever…) Numerous characters have echoed sentiments about love being sacrifice. The moments when True Love stuff has worked were generally moments when both parties were willing to sacrifice for the other. When it hasn’t worked, it’s generally been because one party wasn’t In That Place (or was unable to BE in that place through lost memories).
But what about 3×19 when Regina’s TLK with Henry broke Zelena’s memory curse….

ParticipantIf it’s not Zeus who does Hades in whatever way he’s going to go…I don’t know how I will feel. I mean Emma’s powerful, but Hades is the God of the Dead….in usual Greek Mythology, it takes a god to kill a god.

ParticipantThe Underworld has a better chance of becoming sunshine and daisies before Hook is gone for good.

ParticipantI’m wondering who he’s so determined to kill? Emma?
Hades has been reigning over the Underworld for probably more than a million years….that’s a lot of darkness to try to change. Given enough time, I think Zelena could….but Hades may not have that much time to do so given the rumors that Emma’s going to kill him, thus starting that whole showdown between Zelena and Emma.

ParticipantUmmm…Rumple loves his power more than Belle. I think that’s why she’s depending on her father to wake her.
