ParticipantGah! I didn’t even make the connection! Thanks
Ok, random theory — any reason to think that the forgetfulness curse might be somehow derived from Lethe? And the Dark Curse derived from Acheron?Maybe the main recipe of the Dark Curse consists of water from all five rivers of the Underworld? Just, for the love of God, please no usage of the Lethe water as amnesia on anyone this Season!
Sweet Oz that would be brilliant….
Herc and Meg were “cursed” to forget eachother in the television series when Lethe water fell on them. They wouldn’t see eachother until the events of the movie, if I’m not mistaken. Just throwing it out there.

It’d be a nice tie in, enough to explain what exactly was tied into the Dark Curse. But like @MP said, just no memory curses this half season.
Just, for the love of God, please no usage of the Lethe water as amnesia on anyone this Season!
Hmm. I sympathize with the sentiment, but I suspect they won’t leave that particular low hanging fruit alone. Lethe is probably the most well-known “pop-culture” feature of the Greek Underworld mythology. It’s folkloric enough that I’d be surprised if they didn’t at least reference it.
I know it’s a low chance, but can Gods be affected by the Rivers of the Underworld? If so, making Hades forget specific parts of his end game could help the heroes actually win. Instead of the villains making our heroes forget, what if the heroes made the villains forget?

ParticipantThe whole Author plot of Season 4 is feeling ironic now. Regina’s character really has been screwed over the most, aside from perhaps Rumple, and no matter how far she’s come, the writers continue to punish her. Just when is enough enough?
When she’s dead….I’m really starting to wonder if Regina herself will bite the dust in Season 6. Rumors are circulating on twitter that Robert Carlyle is sticking around for Season 6, but after that he’s retiring…still nothing but rumors, but if it’s true…whose to say they won’t take them out together?
They claim she’s one of their favorites, well hell, if this is how Adam and Eddy treat their favorites, I’d hate to see how they treat their least favorite characters.
Then again…there is small hope that this is not about OUAT.

ParticipantCorbin makes a good point, though. At some point this is torturing a character. They’ve done it to Rumple too.
It’s really official, Regina Mills is the Meredith Grey of OUAT….has been through so much torture and trauma, it’s a wonder she’s even still sane in the mind. If it wasn’t for Henry, Baby Greenbean, & Roland(who she now has to raise), I’d rather Maleficent, Cruella, and Ursula just take Regina and say sayonara to Storybrooke….Queens of Darkness go on a cross country road trip!

ParticipantIf this is true, and Robin does die, I have no idea as to what their endgame is with Regina. First, her first love is killed. Then, after believing she has to destroy Snow White, she kills her father. Later on, her first love comes back. She’s forced to kill him. Her mother comes back. She’s tricked to kill her. She finds her soulmate. He ends up having a child with her sister. Then he dies. This sends a strong message of misogyny, as the writers seem to have a horrible amount of fun with hurting Regina. What kind of message does that send? I’m not saying that they should tie Regina’s happiness to a man, but what’s the point of putting her through MORE pain and have her regress? Also, there’s an eerie real-life parallel between Emma and Regina. If Robin dies, he’ll have died in the season he became a regular. The same happened with Neal, who died in Season 3.
Nine times out ten, there are one or two routes.
Evil Regina: This sends Regina back spiraling out of control, whether it’s after Zelena or the Charmings, depends on who ends up being responsible. If it’s the Charmings, it may end up being Henry who is her undoing, giving his mother peace through death or something like that, it would be really icky but would somewhat parallel Regina killing her father and accidently killing her mother, but Henry would be helping his mother to move onto a better place because she was ultimately destroying herself. A final RegalBeliever scene that would parallel Regina and Henry Sr. Last Scene, where Regina tells Henry how proud she is of him and to never lose hope before she walks off into the light where her parents, Robin, & even Daniel are waiting for her……..much like Les Miserables’s Fantine, Regina would find peace in death.
Or if it’s Zelena who she goes after, I can see a Pan/Rumple sort of scene where Regina sacrifices her life to kill Zelena. And more than likely it will be Regina holding Zelena in place, pleading with Emma to destroy both of them, thus the sisters die together….a very similar scene had been done in the Originals when Esther sacrificed herself to kill her sister Dahlia.
Good Regina: This Regina would not be going after anyone, instead she’d fall into a depression and her son and family helps her rise from the ashes, and move on thus having the support she didn’t have back when Daniel first died. And if Zelena is serious on being redeemed, then Regina while raising Roland, would help Zelena raise Baby Greenbean, thus forming a bond between the sisters who in the end will have only each other and their children, and family.
And after all is said and done, no doubt they will proceed to finish off Rumple probably as the Final Big Bad, which will be when he no longer can contain all of the Dark Ones and must either sacrifice his life to destroy the darkness forever and die a hero, or he will be destroyed by Emma Swan.
Either route, one thing I’m sure of is that Lana Parrilla is pissed about what they’re about to do to her character.

ParticipantYep…
Robin Hood dies in 5B.
Someone murders Snow White & Prince Charming in 6A.
Belle learns how Rumple yet again lied and leaves him in 6A.
Rumple and his prized students Regina & Zelena make last second amends and sacrifice their lives to save All of Storybrooke, thus finishing their redemption arcs in Series Finale 6B.
Hook and Emma take Henry, Roland, Baby Greenbean, & Snowflake and leave Storybrooke in a black and yellow bug, and that will be the Series Finale Last Scene!
The (Beep) End!

ParticipantSo basically….Robin Hood dies. Regina will have to raise Roland, and help Zelena raise Baby Pistachio, which will in someway form a bond between the sisters because Zelena will surprisingly be there for Regina in her time of mourning, and Regina will be there to teach and help Zelena with the baby?

ParticipantThis is unrelated to the current debate, but it just seems very suspicious. Almost like a hint.

ParticipantContinuing on with the Robin speculation: it does really look like they are killing the guy. Regina is dressed in widow weeds.

Poor Gina! This could definetly stir back up the Evil Queen in her! Please for heaven’s sake don’t let Snow White somehow be responsible for this!
