Like I mentioned in the other thread about SB effecting the rest of Maine there are 3 options:

    1. The town is there in a magical sense and can only be found by people who know. Anybody driving through the area would go through it and not notice any buildings, people, anything related to SB.

    2. The town is physically there but the curse makes people avoid the area (like muggle repelling charms from harry potter as said earlier in this thread). They just take different routes or something. For that to work IMO without people noticing…SB can’t be on a main highway. Kinda weird if everybody avoids a main highway suddenly.

    3. A bit out there but fun theory…the curse actually took the place of another town in Maine and all it’s inhabitants. (the original town and people are trapped in a limbo of some sort) Allthough, that would have to mean the curse changed the memories of everybody else who knows people in that town or area.

I also always questioned the Boston thing. So many cities of similar size are all over Maine. why drive 4 hours?

These parody type episodes sadly never are done by mainstream shows. Sometimes if they run on for MANY seasons. Anyone remember Stargate SG-1’s “200th episode”? that one was absolutely hilarious!

Oh my, a fellow TLW fan! I LOVED the show, my favourite character was Marguerite, probably my first crush! 😆 (I guess one can see a recurring theme in what sort of characters I favor – she has some parallels with the Evil Queen )
I hated the way they finished it – they left it at a point with such a potential!

I know this kind of shows is incredibly cheesy… but isn’t it why we watch it?

Agreed. Silly looking dinosaurs from season one aside…the effects weren’t bad the last two seasons and the cast’s acting IMO was fantastic through out! Their chemistry and stories made the show. 🙂

I like all the characters…even Finn. At least fans got the big “Summary writeup” from the writers of what was in store for series 4 and the end of the series if it had continued. The fact they were going to bring Frankenstein to the Plateau was awesome.

and I never even thought about the fact that “Space Operas” are indeed kind of dead these days. True.

I never took a good look at all the doors. thanks for the screencaps. Interesting interesting….

I don’t think there would be a Storybrooke door, since it wasn’t created yet. Maybe a door goes to Dr. Whales world? hmmmm.

myril, you raised some cool theories/questions. I completely forgot about the one thing you said because I too thought about it once:

If maybe indeed Storybrooke was another town at some point. And the original citizens were all killed or stuck in some kind of dimension/limbo/what have you. The idea originally came to me in season one when we saw remnants of FTL in the underground mines. I kept thinking, what if there was another town there and it’s buried underneath Storybrooke. I do not think that makes much sense anymore but some form of that theory, maybe.

Now, I’m not really thinking this to be true but it would be funny if the curse/rumple/regina whoever actually made the curse pick a spot in our world with a fairytale-esque name….out of sheer irony.

Thinking about my theory again…what if someone was following August’s motorcycle down the road. does he just vanish in front of them once he reaches Storybrooke? lol. I’m so curious how the outsiders are effected. haha

That Chernobog seems pretty badass. I’m all for him being the ultimate villian who created the dagger.

This dagger and how you become the dark one suddenly made me think of this…

I wonder if some of the stories did indeed happen in modern time storybrooke by our characters and ended up getting sent back in time and misinterpreted. Thought about it with Whale’s back story, how what happened with Daniel in Storybrooke could have been the story we all know…unless a monster was created with his brother or something as well…and maybe jack and the beanstalk is going to actually emma and hooks climb up there…..hmmm idk.
