If she is controlling them with their hearts, then it’s probably more like a necromancy spell than traditional zombies. If anyone has seen Star Dust, I imagine it’s like she’s controlling the corpses…kind of like the witch did to Tristan’s uncle that had just died (Star Dust is one of my fav movies :)).
