I REALLY love the idea of the slippers being the ruby slippers from Oz. It is a great theory that Rumple may have thought they could possibly help with getting him to the land without magic. (And I would have REALLY loved seeing Rumple trying on those ruby slippers and clicking his heels…lol)
[adrotate group="5"]youfoundmeParticipantHaha Halloweentown. That would be epic. Let’s get Marnie and her Grandma on Once. lol 😆
youfoundmeParticipantYa I could definitely see Whale being Oz too. And there are a lot of things that point him to being Oz, especially the flowers (great catch Tiago)! Flowers were very important in the Wizard of Oz (the poppies). So this theory is definitely justifiable!
youfoundmeParticipantFavorite Moments: FINALLY finding out who Doctor Whale is!! I loved learning more about how Regina knew him. And I also loved seeing the moment Regina turned evil. It was awesome seeing Emma be so badass and Snow was actually impressed with how she handled Hook. Which means maybe Snow now thinks Emma can handle her own in FTL? It was crazy seeing Henry get attacked too! It was interesting having it seem like Regina’s use of magic is being compared to drug use. I like how she is going to Archie for help. And who is Dr. Whale’s brother? Do we know who he is or is it someone new? It was also really cute that Charming is taking care of Henry so well and making him feel needed. The “knight-in-training” thing was adorable! David punching Whale was funny too! haha
Least Favorite Moments: It was really sad seeing Regina have to send Daniel away. I wish they would have gotten more time together. It is also really annoying that Rumple had Dr. Frankenstein fake not bringing Daniel back just so Regina would come back to him.
youfoundmeParticipantOoooo I love that first picture! He’s so cute!

However, if Hook has figured out he can control the Dark One by stealing his dagger, than Rumpel is going to be in serious danger.
Hook could use the dagger to make Rumple kill himself or Belle 😮
Just remember that Rumple cannot be controlled by the dagger in Storybrooke because August? tried to do that when he was pretending to be Bae and it did not work. However, now that there is magic in SB it may…

And then there is the Beauty and the Beast element. At the end of the Disney version, the Beast is attacked by a mob and fatally stabbed, but Belle heals him with her tears. Hmmm…I’m thinking dagger to the chest via Regina and True Love causing there to no longer BE a Dark One.
OMG I could TOTALLY see this happening! Like if Smee or Hook were to stab Rumple with his dagger in Storybrooke, maybe Belle kissing/crying could save him and he would go back to the non-magic Rumple…hmm
youfoundmeParticipantI thought Fred turned into gold to protect Midas? Why would Midas not be happy? Did you mean King George?
youfoundmeParticipantInteresting theory. That would make sense that Jack has the beans! I am so excited to see the giant (he is played by Jorge Garcia from Lost!)

We also saw in 1×12 that Rumpel had a golden chalice in his castle, which many people have speculated could be the Holy Grail. I wonder if Rumpel was collected this item to prevent anyone else from living as long as him, and then he lied about no one else having eternal life so that Beaman wouldn’t get any ideas..
I could definitely see Rumple keeping the Holy Grail in his possession so that no one get can eternal life. And if he does have the Holy Grail, I wonder if he brought it over into Storybrooke and is keeping it in his pawnshop? Could it even work in Storybrooke? This also makes me wonder if they will ever use other age preserving myths in OUAT, like the Fountain of Youth.

I think there is at least one other person in the EF who had external life though: the Blue Fairy. She hasn’t aged in over 300 years, from the time we saw her give the magical bean to Baelfire to the time she turned Pinocchio into a real boy. So, we know that Rumpel certainly isn’t the only person who could obtain eternal life..
I also believe Rumple could not be the only person with eternal life. And I didn’t even think of the blue fairy! Does any fairy age for that matter?
@slurpeez108 wrote:
The deal was that if Beaman got the magical bean, Rumpel would turn back the hands of time and make him into a little boy again, (which I think is a foreshadowing of us meeting Peter Pan, who always stayed a little boy). .
That is also a good prediction! If Rumple were to turn him back that is…but after what he just did to Belle I don’t see Rumple helping him out in the near future…

This makes me wonder if Rumpel still has the power to control time in SB, and whether he plans to use this ability to turn his son, Baelfire, into a boy again.
I don’t know if Bae would want to be turned into a boy again. I think he would want to stay as far away from magic as possible. And if he is the mystery man/Henry's father…I don't think he would want to be turned into the same age as his son lol
