When Emma rides down the Main Street, a crane shot lifts our viewpoint through the traffic light, which is red in that episode. In 1×10 True North, that same crane shot repeats with a green light when August rides his motorcycle down the Main Street. Since the traffic light is above the characters’ points of view, I’m taking that as a hint for us viewers. One interpretation is that the show’s writers are telling us to stop ourselves from going with Emma’s spin on everything and go with August’s.

Especially not if he’s gone and changed his hair and eye colour. 😛 She’d have had no knowledge of what Bae looked like at all. Coulda seen Pinocchio once or twice, but yeah, as a redhead, so that doesn’t exactly jive.
I’ve never really taken her “he seems familiar” as truth though, I figured maybe she just said that to Emma so she seemingly had a reason to want to know more about him. If she’s demanding info on a complete stranger, she looks suspect. If she appears curious because she thinks she may know him, that’s slightly less suspect.
Maybe she noticed that Pinocchio was missing when they all got to Storybrooke, (she didn’t know them well in Fairytale, but knew enough to know that Geppetto had a son), and she’s always wondered where he got to, and now this guy shows up, and she wonders if he could be him, so she needs info on him.

Interesting theory. I do kinda wish there was a way for Daniel to come back somehow, because much as I hate Regina, it’d be nice if eventually she can have her heartbreak repaired somehow, and I’m thinking that having Daniel back would be the only way that could ever happen.
It’s not totally outta left field to say he coulda been talking about “lemures” as opposed to “lemurs”. I mean, he was talking about prayer temples, and if ever there’s a place where spirits would be. If only we had a copy of the script so we could see how it was spelled. 😉
