Adam and Eddy might have intentionally put that clip in to keep us guessing about his identity, but that event might not take place sequentially until episode 6 or later. That way, August really could be the sender of the mysterious postcard, now that we know Eion will reprise the role.
Ooh, good point, after all they are being very much like “Lost”, so it’s definitely a possibility that the mysterious postcard didn’t get sent right after Emma kissed Henry but weeks or perhaps months later by August when he was finally able to send one out. I did think of another possibility that the postcard happened earlier in time like when August first knew that Emma had went to Storybrooke and that he was then breaking due to that, but the producers said that magic affected the real world after it was unleashed, so the postcard must be what they’re referring to.
