I like this! When Rumple talked about places in the ocean so deep that only squids or mermaids could reach it, i was thinking the same things about the oceans possibly connecting the different worlds.
Yeah, my thinking on it was that Hook’s ship traveled through the ocean to get from FTL to NL, so in some way, the ocean has to be accessible from both sides, so the creatures who live in it, like mermaids, can be on either side. Then someone else, (sorry I don’t recall who), mentioned how Snow and Emma’s portal traveled through Lake Nostos, and ended up in the well, which is in keeping with that same theme of waters connecting the different worlds.

Ditto. Was it tricky to restrain from saying anything spoilery when you were posing ideas and questions? I can just imagine the temptation to blurt out, “Well from what we’ve heard of the season finale, this is how I interpret this particular scene in Lacey.” 😛
