March 9, 2013 at 11:16 pm #178581RumplesGirlKeymasterThe flashback before the end of the season = Hook’s story after Milah dies as the season finale? Maybe even before he met Milah and his time in Neverland.
“What can you tell us about what’s coming up towards the end of the season?” “Episodes.” Oh Adam…
The one new character helping out another story = Robin Hood? in 19?

I’ll take either of the Hook timelines. He clearly had a mind to go to Neverland to get the time he needed to find a way to get revenge which begs the following questions:
Was he there at some point in the past?
Was Milah ever there with him?
Did he only learn of Neverland after Milah’s death / the element of “time” became important?
If so who told him he should go there? Smee?
While he was in Neverland, what happened? Who were his friends? His enemies?(Ok, that last one is definitely the point of doing the episodes to begin with but…inquiring minds want to know!)
Personally it sounded like he knew what kind of place it was so he had to have heard it somewhere and/or been there before in which case why leave?
Also: it would interesting if he were once there as a child…a lost boy if you will (would explain his sympathy for them in Tallahassee) and then perhaps went back ONLY after Milah’s death…when he was filled with rage and revenge, possibly on NealFire Pan who is the son of the one he loves as well as the one he hates leading to an epic Hook vs Peter Neverland storyline!
I am also intrigued by the idea of Robin Hood (though I gotta say, I love the fox version so whoever plays him has a lot to live up to). Will be interesting to see where RH fits into everything if / when they do bring him in. Looking forward to it.
I know some hate when the cast gets more bloated but a) the Neverland characters don’t count in this because I firmly believe if they had the rights last year they would have been there sooner (the creators love Peter Pan and we saw a Tink lawn ornament in the pilot for crying out loud! yay for Disney copyrights!) and b) It’s not Snow White, it’s Once Upon A Time and I love seeing other classic characters be brought to life (as long as they’re relevant to the plot) so bring on Robin Hood!
PS: Am I the only one who squealed at the announcement of the last two titles for the season? So excited for the May episodes!

If so who told him he should go there? Smee?Smee can’t have told him, because Smee had to ask him where they were going. We don’t know how much time passed between Milah’s death and Hook taking them to Neverland. How long did Hook have to consider his next move and plan that trip? Did he have time to find out enough info and put together enough pieces to figure out that perhaps Milah and Rumple’s son had gone there? If so, was part of that reasoning because he’d been there previously himself, so he knew it’s where Lost Boys went? If he did go there looking for Bae, was it with the motivation of using the kid as a pawn in his revenge plot against Rumple? Or was it because he wanted to connect to a part of Milah that was still alive?
Really hope we get to see Killian’s childhood in season 3. Love the idea that he could have once been a Lost Boy himself, and am also dying to know if that surname of his is connected to Davy Jones in some way.
March 10, 2013 at 7:16 am #178654MysteryKat25ParticipantYou know you’ve stayed up too late when you start missing details of your favorite character / ship! I completely forgot that Smee was the one to ask that (and it seems like they met around that time too if I recall).
Guess it’s time to rewatch The Crocodile in the near future. Oh the horror. It’s a tough job but somebody’s gotta do it 😉
Hopefully we do get lots of Hook’s past. He always comes across as Jack Sparrow mixed with the Dread Pirate Roberts to me so I’d be interested to see how he became that way and if, as you say, he might be related to one Davy Jones. So much potential story left for him!

Didn’t they put Milah to rest at sea right before Hook and the Jolly Roger set said for Neverland? They tossed the body, wrapped in a shroud, overboard and then the conversation between Smee and Hook happened. I know it was in the preview for that week, maybe it got cut in the editing room, but I think going to Neverland happened fairly quickly after Milah’s death.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"March 10, 2013 at 6:33 pm #178724SlurpeezParticipantRobert Carlyle teases changes for Rumple by season finale. Robert talks about Rumbelle and Baelfire(something happens in 22 that changes their relationship forever.)

March 10, 2013 at 6:37 pm #178726RumplesGirlKeymaster“A resolution with Belle but not at all in the way you imagine it.” Alright then. I’ll be in my corner rocking myself until Lacey.
The game changer between Papa and Bae: we keep tossing Milah out there, but what if that’s not “BIG” enough? It is big, that your father killed your mother, but I’m starting to think that the gamer changer isn’t Bae finding something out, but Rumple finding something out.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"March 10, 2013 at 6:51 pm #178731MysteryKat25ParticipantIn The Crocodile they did go to Neverland right after burying Milah at sea but I was referring more to those missing years when we know Milah was with Killian – more of a has he / they been there before so he was going back? Or did he only choose to go there because he knew of the time stopping thing?
I’m guessing if he was ever there before it was as a child / lost boy? so Milah wouldn’t have ever been there with them and they likely just sailed the seas together but we still have those missing years to deal with so not officially ruling it out (though it is unlikely…if he could have had forever with the one he loved without aging and if they were happy there why leave?)

March 10, 2013 at 7:11 pm #178737CrownedWithLaurelsParticipantI keep thinking the game changer may be Rumple giving up his powers. Or finding out for sure that Bae is Peter and knowing they both have the same enemies(if they choose to do the Hook/Peter=Enemies route).
Even if they were buddy-buddy at one point, Nealfire’s words in The Queen Is Dead about “he’s my blood” makes me think that they don’t have that friendly of a past together. And if he doesn’t know about Milah running away with Hook and not dying in the way pre-Dark one Rumple had told him, that may be a game changer- finding out his mom ran away with Hook (esp if they had been buddies in Neverland). Just because he already shows strong loyalty to his father even through everything they have been through. Maybe it would give them a “moment”. ((((And then it would br ripped away when he finds out Rumple killed her. ))))Anyway. Sorry if its confusing. The layout makes it hard to see the entire post when posting from my phone 😉
No matter what, we have a long way to go, peeps!
