The theory of Rumple traveling to NL is posted in this thread. But it certainly is possible for Rumple to travel to other lands; he traveled to A Land Without Color (Dr. Frankenstein’s world) in In the Name of the Brother. It’s possible that Rumple paid to use Jefferson’s hat to travel to Victor’s realm, because he had no beans or other portals to do so. Also, even in Victor’s world, Rumple still was the Dark One and could do magic. As long as the realm has magic, Jefferson’s hat can travel there. The only reason Rumple couldn’t use Jefferson’s hat to travel to our land is because it lacked magic.

Maybe Rumple in a round about way is responsible for creating Neverland and lost boys. They did say that something comparable to Red being the Wolf and Rumple being the crocodile was coming.

Belle basically proposed a very similar theory here.

Yes, I’m aware of Belle’s theory where she wonders if Rumple perhaps had the whole island orchestrated to find Bae as I’ve posted over on that thread as well when I mentioned my theory about Bae saying his name to Wendy was the trigger that summoned the shadow to the Darling’s house. 😀

However, what I was suggesting here Slurpeez, is not the same thing as what she or anyone else has suggested over there.

I am saying that perhaps a little bit of Rumple’s subconscious mind or heart, came through the vortex along with Bae and is now appearing as the this shadow. Yes, that’s right. What if Rumple, or a wee bit of him, is the shadow. The childlike part of Rumple. That would explain the shadow always searching for lost boys as Rumple always said his son was lost to him.

Or, what if a little bit of dark magic escaped through THE DAGGER when he used it to dig into the dirt and escape the vortex. Same end results only a darker shadow with more sinister type of disposition.

Again, nothing like this was posted over there and I find this more suitable to the subject of this thread. 😀
