I agree with Daniel’s comment on the podcast that the reason why it was a glove was because a finger can point at things. If Belle asked, what is the thing my husband loves the most and it pointed to her — no problem. But the glove pointed to the real dagger.
I hope that’s a deleted scene by the way.
