In Ancient Greek, Kore (K, not C, not really a C in Ancient Greek) simply means “maiden” hence it’s tie to Persephone, a maiden abducted. Cora (our Queen of Hearts) gets her name from the more appropriate Greek word “kardia (kardias)” the noun word for heart which gets passed off to Latin, the mother of all romantic languages, as “Cor”
I rather doubt that A and E are experts in linguistics so it wouldn’t totally surprise me if they try to tie Cora (our Queen) into this myth somehow, though I think she might play a more Demeter role than the actual Persephone.
