I had no idea how they were gonna pull off Hansel & Gretel in Oz but they did it!

How was there an alternative Hansel, Gretel and Witch in Oz? That made absolutely no sense in any way! I can’t even think of the logistics as to how that could be possible.

Most likely, the gingerbread house is in Bunbury, a place in Quadling Country (southern Oz).

Sorry if this comes up twice, but my first post seems to have disappeared.

This still doesn’t make any sense. Oz, while you have to use a portal or a cyclone to get to it, is part of the original Enchanted Forest realm. There should not be another Hansel, Gretel, father (once again no mother) and witch. We previously saw the original Enchanted Forest’s crew back in season one in the episode True North.

We know that this Hansel and Gretel belong in the Enchanted Forest 2.0 because they have interacted with characters from there. Hansel/Jack with Henry and Gretel with Gothel and Drizella.

I thought at one point the witch had somehow transported her house from Enchanted Forest 2.0 to Oz (or possibly with a cyclone) with Hansel and Gretel in it, but then Zelena ran into their father living in the woods so that squashed that theory.

The truth is that there is no possible way an alternate Hansel and Gretel story should be taking place in Oz and the writers messed up.
