Maybe Henry inherited some of Emma’s Savior-ness? Or maybe TLK from a former villian is much more powerful than a TLK from a straight-out hero because it is much rarer.
And maybe Emma’s kiss didn’t work because in her heart she secretly didn’t want Henry to regain his memories. She was still hoping that after everything is over she could take him back to New York and leave behind the fairy tale world.
