My goodness, some of you have become so cynical.
I really don’t think that’s fair. We’re allowed to be critical and say that we saw flaws–no matter what they were–without being told that we’re overly cynical or that we need to just let it go. TV is a piece of text that needs to be critically analyzed. If you thought it was fun and great, then yay! I’m happy for you. But that doesn’t mean the show is perfect or without flaws. And we should be allowed to point those out.
and did you catch Snow’s comment that maybe they should have named the baby Baelfire? Teehee.
IMO, that was the single worst line in the entire episode. It came out of nowhere, had no set up and no follow through. It was the writers saying, “oh…people didn’t like that we named the baby Neal, well nuts to you guys!” That had nothing to do with the scene or anything going on. It was totally outside the episode and was the writers interjection. And it was absolutely unnecessary.
