To me this is obvious. It’s the same way they get around everything. When they kill Hades, everything he has done will no longer be. All the souls will likely be freed as well. It may be that simple. Killing him will be challenging, but once it’s done, I feel like so many things will become easy.
It does sound simple except that they’ve driven home the point that Hades is a God…those thingys are notoriously hard to kill. Of Emma does it, I’m all for it (cosmic storytelling and all) but if it’s not then I’ve got some problems.
But I don’t really think they can kill Hades…he’s pretty convinced of that. In most legends, only a God can kill another God. I get Emma is the Savior and all that, but she’s not technically a God….it probably would have been more fitting for Demi-God Hercules to have been the one to do his uncle in, but he’s off in Mount Olympus.
Maybe Hercules will get his father Zeus to come down and handle Hades?
