First of all mr. Gold’s beautiful moonstone ring (I love moonstone) is a seer’s stone, and Gold is a seer. It also brings emotional balance… not a bad idea for someone who is trying to control the Dark One inside of him. I think the ring might prove important for that.

Seeing the newest pic AND the newest script tease, the whole “emotional balance” thing is really making a lot of sense for tonight’s episode!!

Reading SpinningGold’s post about the moonring bringing emotional balance, the moonring in the pic, and knowing the quote above in the spoiler tag (probably referring to Emma using magic, just a hunch) makes me think that there really is something to it like that!!
